attentive staff and delicious modern australian food!

i came here with a group of friends for a saturday birthday dinner and the staff was attentive and patient when we were ordering.
we were seated outside, but their restaurant has heaters and provided blankets for all customers to beat the winter cold!

i ordered the beef ribs and it literally melts in your mouth! the meat was so good it fell off the bone!! i will be reordering this one next time i come back.

also tried out the pork belly lollipops and they were fairly good, nice marinate to them. i will also recommend their sangria drink.

bianca: with just over a year under their belt at the barangaroo location, wild sage has been charming the local office workers with their diverse breakfast/ lunch/dinner menus, as well as offering a respite for those much needed after work drinks. this was our second visit to the barangaroo outpost, both times missing one of the most popular dishes on the menu, the corn flake covered french toast. i really must rectify that!

a short walk from wynyard station and king street wharf, this busy restaurant offers great-tasting lunch options that look amazing!

we went on a friday for lunch and the service was good, food came out quickly and prices were decent.

we went here recently to celebrate my mum's birthday. the place has a nice outdoor seating section. i had heard good reviews about the place and wasn't disappointed at the end of our experience. our sweet potato fries were crispy, crunchy and nice with a lovely garlic mayo aioli. my partner's confit duck was so amazing with a well cooked duck with a bit of pinky brown skin texture. its accompaniments of roasted carrots, brussel sprouts, parsnip puree and chimichurri sauce were lovely accompaniment to the duck.

my ox cheek was simply divine. one could tell the effect of the long 12 hour braised cooking process as the ox cheek simply melted in your mouth. the accompaniments of pickled zucchini, crispy shallots, pomegranate and horse radish mayo were excellent and lent a rich luxurious almost sizzler sauce like taste to the jus. the prices were value for money and overall with great customer service and ambience this place is hugely appreciated.

brunch but make it healthy! this brunch spot has a beautiful open seating arrangement for you to enjoy the sun this summer. ⁣

we went here for a girls brunch date so i didn't try every single dish but the dish i ordered was a shakshuka. this was definitely a twist on all the original ones that i have ever had, i expected tomato but there was not one in sight! it was definitely interesting and i can't fault the flavours as i quite enjoyed it. it was green 💚 from the lentils which caught me by surprised 😱 instead of normal sourdough or bread, i got flat bread which was a nice addition but would've loved more so i can dip in that sauce!⁣

this would be a favourite for all my #healthbabes out there! ⁣

for a restaurant that charges $36 for a steak you would think that they know how to cook a steak. the flavour of the steak was mixed in with everything else on the grill, and there was 0 crust on the steak. what a complete waste of wagyu.
the brisket sandwich was heavy, tasteless and poorly thought out. not sure why you would pair pumpkin seed bread with a brisket sandwich. not sure if they mixed flavours again for this because the slaw had some horrible passionfruit flavour in it.
the tacos were the only halfway acceptable menu item. the taco itself wasnt even soft, more like a hard baked flat bread. and at $20 for two tacos you would think that youd get enough filling in your taco, but you get half a taco worth of filling.
overall, one of the most overpriced, flavourless food experiences i have had in sydney. dont even bother wasting your time at this cafe. it's not even instagrammable.

me and my husband had brunch at this place. it was packed full of people, it was late summer and so it's really nice to just sit outside. this place is closest to wynyard station, like 10 minutes walk i suppose. we had the shukshuka and croissant. their food was nice but nothing like it would stood out among the other brunch places i've been to. staff were fairly nice, nothing that's really caught my attention in this place to b honest. i like the fact that it's very accessible, and that it has nice ambiance specially in al fresco.

average food - was slightly pricey for the portion size. coffee was mediocre, however the staff was super friendly and the lobster taco is highly recommended.

i’ve always wanted to come to a cafe which offers bright, colourful and pretty dishes and drinks and i’ve found it. their dishes are all very well presented and delicious, their tacos are extra tasty and yum.

had a wonderful lunch here on the weekend! we started with a glass of prosecco for me and a milkshake for my friend. the lobster taco was delicious, loved the pineapple chilli salsa with smoke aioli as well as the tender beef brisket sandwich which came with a side of chips. my favourite dish of the day was the prawn linguini, the flavours and texture is spot on. comfortable seating and nice decor. recommend to come here for both dates or group.

visit 1: went here this morning, just got a quick croissant and coffee. they offered to heat up my croissant and did so perfectly. was so tasty and very delicate. coffee was just how i like it. they also have a loyalty program where every 9th coffee takeaway is free. decor is very modern. quite popular for business meetings

visit 2: webt for some takeaway toast this morning. i asked if they did raisin toast and was told yes they do. i got my toast reasonable quickly but when i got back to work to eat it it was one slice of fruit toast and for 5.50 it was a bit overpriced. seeingbit was raining i didn’t go back to complain but the restaurant should know the difference. still super hungry after my peice of toast. super busy n crowded so nowhere to stand and wait really

gorgeous food and great service at wild sage barangaroo. a little tight inside but otherwise feels like an open space. my favourite dish was the nutella french toast. bread had a crunchy crust and fluffy inside, nutella was rich and chocolatey and berries added a pop of colour and sweetness to the dish. more nutella would have been nice as i was expecting more of an ooze but the flavours were still there.

if you'd like to read more of my reviews, please check out my zomato page and visit @cynthiaeats_ on instagram for more photos!

my thanks to wild sage barangaroo and casa media group for the invite.
