wild sage american bistro

one of the best in spokane.. just like other reviewers, i've never had a bad experience at the wild sage. the bar is so great with fresh juices and great original drinks. the wildsagedrink is my favorite cocktail ever (maybe tied with a moscow mule). dinner and appetizers are always great. i've strayed out of my comfort zone a few times and have always been rewarded. i don't know how to describe it other than a "foodie" place, and it is the best foodie place in spokane as far as i'm concerned.

a memorable meal. my boyfriend and i had looked forward to dinner at wildsageafter having enjoyed their incredible easter brunch. from start to finish, this meal was truly one of the most delectable either of us had ever eaten! the server was very attentive and confident in her knowledge of each of the items we questioned her about. each of us ordered a drink -- mine was the rob-jito (a twist on the mojito made with tequila), and john had the strawberry spice. these drinks were something special, and we sipped slowly and savored. the popovers arrived, and they were so light and delicious, it was hard to stop eating them. then the salads -- i had the bacon & blue, which i found to be absolutely moutwatering -- lots of tangy crumbled blue cheese with bacon and sweet little grape tomatoes, and the dressing was tangy and sweet. i would have enjoyed this salad as a meal by itself in a larger portion. yum! john enjoyed his bistro greens almost as much as i loved mine. then the main course. i ordered the wild mushroom ravioli, because i absolutely love mushrooms, and i must say, this was perhaps the most scrumptious ravioli i have ever eaten. john ordered the goat cheese stuffed free range chicken which i sampled and it was tender and delicious with a wonderful barbeque sauce. he raved about the smoky-flavored greens that were served with his entree. we were so satisfied by the end of this meal, we couldn't even think of dessert or anything else. thank you, wild sage!!! what a wonderful evening!

you'll love every bite!. my husband and i go to the wildsageon every special date night. it's not even a question where we'll end up. the food is always spot on. my favorite time to go is when i'm pregnant so i can stuff myself to death :-) the staff is always excellent too! some other restaurants that we have enjoyed have been luna, clover, milfords, etc. the wildsageblows them all out of the water!

love!. great service, upscale atmosphere without being snooty, beautifully prepared food and creative cocktails. my husband tried the smoke & mirrors cocktail - what a surprising and delicious drink! his kalbi pork shanks were to die for, and my duck was beautiful. we don't go out often so we always try to go someplace new, but wildsageis going to lure us back many more times!

one of the best!. my fiance and i are spokane foodies, we admit that. our feeling is life is too short to eat bad food, so we seek out the best restaurants. we have a handful of establishments that we know when we eat there, we will always have a great meal, and wildsageis one of them. you can order anything on the menu and know you'll enjoy it. we've been here many times and i'm booking our next dinner there today. recommend you make reservations though, especially for the holidays. check them out on facebook too!

excellent gluten free menu. i feel very blessed to have found wild sage. in mid 2013, my husband and i both discovered that we are both gluten intolerant. the menu is quite gluten free. the food is excellent. the service is awesome. it's nice to have such a variety of goodies when my husband and i dine out. for fine dining it's surprisingly kid friendly. the staff really works hard to accommodate any special diet needs.

great gluten free fine dining. my husband and i recently found out that we are gluten sensitive. it was such a boon to find wild sage. they cater to gluten free diets. everything was delicious! the service was excellent. they make a gluten free cracker that is so yummy! our server was wonderful. i wish i had eaten at wildsagea long time ago.

best restaurant around, by far. consistently delicious, creative food and impeccable service at every visit. it's well worth the price you pay! it's our date night dinner every time. other similarly-priced restaurants in town don't even compare, in all areas! you must try wild sage! their signature drink is to die for and if you can't/don't want to drink, the spicysagelemonade is so amazing!

always great. we can always count on wildsagefor fantastic food and great cocktails. (i even asked for the recipe for one drink and the bartender supplied it!) it is our go to place for before concerts/movies etc or when we want a fantastic meal. and they have alwasy accomodated special diets (vegetarian or gluten free). my friend and i shared tapas and dessert there last week and it was as usual outstanding. keep up the good work!

just got home from an amazing meal at wild sage. my fiancée and i have recently become foodies together and love trying out restaurants in the area. we had planned to try out sante but like some others who have written reviews they are not open tuesday nights. but this was a blessing in disguise as wildsageturned out to be a fantastic experience. we arrived and got prompt service even though we had no reservation. my fiancée doesn't like alcohol so she stuck with water. i guess she's a foodie not a drinkie. i got the tilted kilt which was interesting and fantastic. a mixed drink formed around scotch? manly yet it got me in touch a bit with my feminine side. we then shared the yukon gold taquitos. i loved them, she went nuts on them. i had to fight to get my fair share. all in good fun of course. she then ordered the baby kale caesar salad with anchovy crostini and i got the heirloom beet salad. i usually don't like beets so this was a risk. however, i found the flavor delightful. again, my fiancée loved both, but really wanted my beet salad, so we switched, and i absolutely enjoyed the caesar. then the entrees came. she got the cioppino and i ordered the goat cheese stuffed chicken breast. both were amazing but we were stuffed so we could only eat half and we had it boxed. i can't wait for my lunch tomorrow. but we still had to try dessert. we split the affogato al caffe. as my fiancée would say, "oh my gulay." that's filipino for vegetable. it was amazing! simple, but absolutely wonderful. we will definately be going back. and i would personally love to shake the chefs hand. if you haven't gone, what are you waiting for?

wildsageis the best restaurant in spokane. the food is wonderful, the staff is friendly & helpful & the prices are fair. i always recommend it to out of town guests & they always love it- you will never be disappointed!!!

best restaurant in spokane!. i have been to wildsagecountless times and, i have to say, i have never had a bad experience. the servers are terrific. the cocktails are unique, blended with many house-made mixes and hard to find liquors that balance perfectly with the gins and whiskeys we know so well. the appetizers are so wonderful that many times i will order one and forgo a main course. try the yukon gold taquitos and then attempt not order them every time you go, like my husband and i do. the salads are delicious and very different from all the standard caesar salads and wedges you find at other spots. just the choice of lettuces, and vegetables, like the underappreciated beet, and heirloom tomatoes make them stand out. the entrees are truly some of the best proteins you can find in this city, everything expertly seasoned and cooked. the chef knows how to treat a wide variety of ingredients with artful care and wonderful ability and i have no regret ordering anything off their menu. the ingredients are the star of this restaurant and i believe they go out of their way to be sure everything is fresh and ready to be eaten and enjoyed. they have a lot to be proud of, as i am only one of their many regulars that regard wildsageas the best restaurant in spokane.

we love wild sage. wildsageis our go to restaurant when we want to have a great meal with reliable and good service. we nearly always choose to go there for our special nights out (birthdays, anniversary, or a special date night). we love the yukon gold tacquitos and the almost famous coconut cake is certainly famous in our minds. we have been to wildsagemore times than i can count and we have always had good service and wonderful food and drinks.

wildsageis one of our spokane favorites. we always look forward to a great meal at wildsagebistro.the menu has the right amount of variety , is well prepared with a very friendly staff, always glad to see you and make sure your meal is memorable. i also like that the restaurant is involved in the community supporting such organizations as the spokane civic theatre.
