the rude waitress. my mom visiting from detroit has been talking about going to the whitepalacegrill forever, but seeing guy fiori there pushed her to go on and make that move. with just a little food left on her plate, she realized she had not received the toast that came with her meal. when the waitress returned to the table, my mother inquired,"wasn"t toast supposed to came with this?" the waitress replied, "well i've been here five times and your plate is clean, so it must not have been important." then she turned and walked away. a good meal turned into a bad experience, with a rude waitress, and no chance of returning to a restaurant where everything else was quite enjoyable. this also was the first time ever my mother didn't tip !
