rude to young black prom goers, who were quiet and orderly. the wait staff never approached them.. the young people were never rude they simply got up and left, after just being starred at for over 20 min , it was early morning and not busy. no one ever approached them to acknowledge them. my friend who witnessed this will never go again. and i would boycott this treatment to young people on their special night. i am starting a boycott.

the rude waitress. my mom visiting from detroit has been talking about going to the white palace grill forever, but seeing guy fiori there pushed her to go on and make that move. with just a little food left on her plate, she realized she had not received the toast that came with her meal. when the waitress returned to the table, my mother inquired,"wasn"t toast supposed to came with this?" the waitress replied, "well i've been here five times and your plate is clean, so it must not have been important." then she turned and walked away. a good meal turned into a bad experience, with a rude waitress, and no chance of returning to a restaurant where everything else was quite enjoyable. this also was the first time ever my mother didn't tip !

went here for lunch with no expectation and surprisingly the food was good. the food quantity & quality is just right for the cost paid. satisfied!

place was featured on diners, drive ins and dives! has been around since 1939. large menu with lots of different selections. feels more like you are dining with family. food is very good and the wait staff are attentive. owner greets you as you walk in. location is open 24/7. probably very busy once the bars close!

trip advisor gave us this tip. walked across town for a hotdog. wasn’t disappointed. got the bigger hotdog. order at the counter. served at the counter. got there at 1100 place was packed. had a schooner beer of course. place is full of memorabilia from sports.

fajita omlette and berry waffles will just make your mornings one of the best. the waffles were some of the softest and tastiest i've had, they just melt in your mouth. and the best part, it's pocket friendly and open 24/7.

yum i ate dessert in there i like it but there is one problem these desserts can make you fat so watch out p.s just so you know don't eat fatty foods and start exercising!😜

while place grill is amazing american 24hrs 7 outlet have awesome food and service...i visited this place on 4th july 2016 @ independence.day afternoon and found this place and food is really great....we tried...cat fish with spanish rice.....chicken quesidillas.....chicken grilled sandwhich....and banana split ice cream along with chicjen fingers...the portion for each order was huge...it was great that we were 4 persons and we really enjoyed every bit of it....one would surely count on this outlet fir american food...burgers...fries....cutlets...and hotdogs...must must visit and greatbthingnits 24*7 outlet..

you can find many options for breakfast, lunch and dinner here. hot dogs, omlets... we tried deluxe hot doğ and it comes with free chicken soup. satisfied us. service is fast

looking for the nitty gritty of chicago and found it here! did the whole chicago thing, ride in on the chicago transit authority train, take the bus to the museum loop and soldier field (yay bears!), and chomp down on down & dirty diner grub. how chicago can it get! we don't have too many places like this in san francisco with just good ol' eats. lots of carbs, lots of saturated fat, and lots of fun! a must go to when you gots to get away and are visiting chicago. my view of what to do in chicago!

old diner since 1939 and may be a bit of hype after the food network tv show exposure. it was a crowded morning of aug 14 with lot of cops and firemen before or after their duty hours.
service was swift.
breakfast combo was the order, which came with pancakes,fried eggs and polish sausage. ordered a hot chocolate to go with it. the portion was huge. the polish sausages were very salty for my palate.

nothing special here, just your average mom and pop shop around the corner, definitely not worth the hype.
and you need to pay the check at the counter.

so good we ate here twice in one day!. my husband and i took the train to chicago and wanted a place close to union station to eat.....we found the perfect place- white palace grill! great food! excellent, friendly service!

this 24-hour diner style restaurant seems popular, especially with that huge diners, drive-ins, and dives poster proudly attached to the exterior of their building.  i can definitely see why it is popular for late night, drunk food cuisine...

horrible experience!!!. first the waitress attitude was disrespectful a and very distasteful. the managers attitude was not better. i understand why one would want ppl to prepay on orders, but they don't split checks and they don't substitute food. i hate eggs. but most selections come with egg. i was with a party of 5 and they wanted all of us to put everyone's order on one person's card. not cool. we were tourist new to the city and they failed to accommodate. the manger really didn't care or seemed to want our business. didn't get a chance to eat the food.

white palace grill is an all american 24 hour diner. it has all the attributes of a good experience; good food, good service and good decor. although it may not top the zagat guide, it’s a place where you eat lots and leave feeling happy, happy, happy.
