can't go wrong.. whipper snapper is the northern outpost of the haight's cha, cha, cha. comfortfoodwith a caribbean twist is the specialty here. fresh, local and organic whenever possible, the kitchen handles the top quality ingredients with care. try bill's zarezuella, a paella, cioppino style seafood stew. it's satisfying, filling and perfect for a cold winter evening. for meat eaters the cowboy steak can't be beat. a healthy cut of beef, cooked to flavorful perfection, topped with a dollop of anchovy butter and served with just the right combination of rice and beans. fun place although a little noisy on weekends when there's live music. a great bargain.
