can't go wrong.. whipper snapper is the northern outpost of the haight's cha, cha, cha. comfort food with acaribbeantwist is the specialty here. fresh, local and organic whenever possible, the kitchen handles the top quality ingredients with care. try bill's zarezuella, a paella, cioppino style seafood stew. it's satisfying, filling and perfect for a cold winter evening. for meat eaters the cowboy steak can't be beat. a healthy cut of beef, cooked to flavorful perfection, topped with a dollop of anchovy butter and served with just the right combination of rice and beans. fun place although a little noisy on weekends when there's live music. a great bargain.
