wave restaurant at danfords hotel and marina

visited during the happy hours. nice location. cheap drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). food was okayish (pita trio wasgoodbut shrimp dumplings were flop and overrated)

the atmosphere was very pretty and service friendly and attentive. appetizers weregoodthe bread was stale and hard as a rock. when it came to main course i told the waiter i had a food allergy and asked for no spice on my food. when the pasta dish came it was full of hot pepper and the waiter was very apologetic and said the chef made the mistake. when the new dish came back it was suppose to be in a garlic wine sauce but was swimming in water and was just plain pasta with some clams on top. it was disgusting and i couldn't eat it. it was as they washed off the pasta and threw it back in my dish. i was very disappointed.

wonderful!!. a great dining experience! i've dined at this restaurant many times, and expect to go back many more. the wave is right on the water, and the newly renovated restaurant gives a new hip feeling to the overall nautical theme.

the food is amazing! the menu is a little small, but don't let that deter you! i went there for my second wedding anniversary this year and had the grilled salmon with cauliflower, spinach, radicchio, olives, and a balsamic reduction. the fish was cooked to perfection--the outside was lightly crispy due to the seasoning and grilling, which was to be expected, but it was wonderfully flaky, and the vegetables complemented it well, both in texture and taste.

the desserts are also wonderful. i had the chocolate mousse dome...and it was not to sweet, and a great ending to a great dinner!!

i recommend the wave restaurant at danfords to all my friends who are looking for a classy restaurant withgoodfood and a great atmosphere.

danfords. i had a company holiday party upstairs and had a great time. great, friendly, fun to talk to bar tender. fantastic little appetizers. brunch wasgoodas well. nice location, usually friendly staff.
