warren & holt wholefoods eatery

came as a guest. not far from marrickville station,thiscafestands out as being as healthy as can be. a lot of gluten free meals and vegan options and ethical sourced products. my friend had the mt holt burger and he enjoyed it. i also enjoyed my balkan sausages and the kale fritters why have we’re nice also. saw a few people just getting takeaway coffees too

it's acafewith "wholefoods" in the name so you know it will be similar to most good cafes but cost a bit more. the prices were ok, especially for the rich and creamy coffee, and the food was good quality although bland and uninspiring. a good choice up this end of marrickville.

absolutely loved thiscafeand would highly recommend this place to everyone! served with organic produce and serving sizes were decent. coffee was strong and beautifully roasted and the barista sure knew how to brew a perfect cappuccino. the bircher was refreshing, then pancakes were drool-worthy and the donburi was nicely fulfilling with the additional chilli chicken. the service was great and i loved the atmosphere in there too. can’t wait to return and try more.

this is a cute little light filled trendycafein marrickville. service is friendly and prompt. i love eating whole foods and eating healthy. i had been keen to go here for ages. we checked out the menu online but when we got there, it wasn’t as per the online menu, so what i had wanted wasn’t available so i just ordered eggs on toast. we also ordered the healthy bowl that didn’t seem that healthy at all. needed fresh salad or greens with it. would also be good to see more clean and fresh salads. they do have good coffee.

there is no concrete definition that constitutes wholefoods, but in general it is minimally processed  as close to its whole state as possible  .  warren & holt prides itself on serving delicious and nutritious wholefoods for all dietary requirements. . whether you prefer gluten free, diary free or in fact anything free, warren & holt can deliver the dish just the way how you prefer.  produce used in thecafeis certified organic where possible and free from harmful chemicals, toxins and pesticides. they even partner with a qualified nutritionist to deliver maximum nourishment and flavour with every mouthful.

as someone who always picks the most adventurous (or weirdest) option on the menu thiscafedrew me like a moth to flame.
unfortunately the food while ‘healthy’ and fresh is quite underwhelming. portions are small and food is overpriced and bland even if accounting for all organic and free range produce.
this place is like a bad version of cornersmith which is just up the road.
we ended up having a second breakfast elsewhere.

loved the atmosphere and decor of thecafebut wasn’t heaps impressed by the food we ordered. pretty expensive and small servings for what you pay...

what can i say! seasonal innovative menu, many gf options . a daring but creative touch on the palate for all dishes . coffee and ambience excellent . made in melbourne , and this sydneycafehits the spot . tremendously good stuff

the food here was great; so healthy and fresh, and they have a range of unique menu options which changes seasonally. their service was also very good. they are a whole foodscafeand all their produce is organic. i go the chickpea farinata, which was so nice and crispy. i personally enjoyed the perfectly cooked mushrooms in the dish. their staple dish - the warren smash was also very nice. i would like to come back sometime.

this place popped up on my radar as they pride themselves on using fresh, organic and wholesome ingredients. i had breakfast here on a saturday morning with a friend and we were seated straight away. thecafeis well lit with high ceilings and an industrial interior design. i started the meal with an apple cider vinegar shot as a "digestion kickstarter". something a bit different and definitely a palate cleanser. i ordered the breakfast plate which had a little bit of everything. it was a large portion and i was full at the end of it! tasty pulled pork, sourdough toast and flavoursome tomatoes. i wasn't really a fan of the goat cheese flavour unfortunately but may suit other palates. i washed it all down with a choc on ice that was refreshing and a perfect amount of chocolate. the staff here are very friendly and the service was prompt. i will be returning again for breakfast someday soon.

food was of exceptional quality for the average brunchcafeprice we payed for our dishes. extra brownie points for pepe saya butter on the sourdough toast i got with my perfectly cooked scrambled eggs. service was just a bit lacking overall.

nice whole-foods menu. fresh lookingcafein a good location. have tried the golden latte and a cacao drink, both were good. want to go back for their raw desserts!
