popped in to w&h after seeing lola berry's amazing looking breakfast yesterday on instagram.

i couldn't help but order the same. the warren smash is avocado and goats cheese, house made almond dukkah, beetroot hummus & lime. i got it on sprouted quinoa bread with a poached egg and it was delicious.

hubs got what looked like perfectly silky scrambled eggs with two yummy lamb sausages.

the coffee is by pablo & rusty and decent. i got a piccolo and hubs got a soy latte. he got his in a takeaway cup and i must say it was one of the smallest small sizes i have seen. only criticism would be the takeaway coffee size.

came as a guest. not far from marrickville station, this cafe stands out as being as healthy as can be. a lot of gluten free meals and vegan options and ethical sourced products. my friend had the mt holt burger and he enjoyed it. i also enjoyed my balkan sausages and the kale fritters why have we’re nice also. saw a few people just getting takeaway coffees too

good place for a sunday brunch. thought it was going to be difficult to get a table (looked packed) but it wasn't. i'm more an egg person when it comes to brunch, but after having a look at the menu, the hotcake was very appealing and i wasn't dissaponted... it was awesome! my hubby was drawn more to the big breakfast, which wasn't bad, but not as delicious as mine.

it's a cafe with "wholefoods" in the name so you know it will be similar to most good cafes but cost a bit more. the prices were ok, especially for the rich and creamy coffee, and the food was good quality although bland and uninspiring. a good choice up this end of marrickville.

i'm certain that the food here is healthy and the ingredients are probably organic/high quality (the bacon here is nitrate free) but i found my food very bland and flavorless. this may be because it's catered to a healthy eating audience but i feel like i can make it at home.

i was extremely impressed and satisfied with this cafe! even on a reduced ‘covid-19 menu’, each dish was creative and unique. the bircher, although small, was flavorful and unique. the eggplant don-buri was also delicious, especially with added chicken, and the pancake stack was quite tasty and fulfilling (not a big fan of the spiced poached pear though). the only bad dish was the sweet potato crisps, which is not good value for money in my opinion. but regardless, with the organic and whole food approach, along with unique and delicious menu options, i’ll definitely be back soon!

coffee was amazing and it was even better knowing that the barista takes pride in his work. the food was equally amazing with fresh organic produce and mouthwatering flavours. i absolutely loved the eggplant donburi. the egg was poached perfectly and all the flavours were balanced.
the bircher muesli was not too heavy nor was it too sweet. i highly recommend both these dishes of they’re still on the menu. will definitely be coming back!

pancake stack : 😍 amazing
bircher : 😍 amazing
donburi w/ chicken : 😍 amazing
coffee : 😍 amazing

absolutely loved this cafe and would highly recommend this place to everyone! served with organic produce and serving sizes were decent. coffee was strong and beautifully roasted and the barista sure knew how to brew a perfect cappuccino. the bircher was refreshing, then pancakes were drool-worthy and the donburi was nicely fulfilling with the additional chilli chicken. the service was great and i loved the atmosphere in there too. can’t wait to return and try more.

came to warren & holt with high hopes, apart from the lovely service and good coffee i was thoroughly disappointed by the food. overpriced food, paid $27 for bacon and eggs on toast with one hash brown. $17 for one thin zucchini fritter which was sour and horrible. never again, one of the most overpriced breakfasts & all because it is a “whole food” cafe.

this is a cute little light filled trendy cafe in marrickville. service is friendly and prompt. i love eating whole foods and eating healthy. i had been keen to go here for ages. we checked out the menu online but when we got there, it wasn’t as per the online menu, so what i had wanted wasn’t available so i just ordered eggs on toast. we also ordered the healthy bowl that didn’t seem that healthy at all. needed fresh salad or greens with it. would also be good to see more clean and fresh salads. they do have good coffee.

had an awesome experience visiting warren & holt!
the staff was really friendly, we were planning to spend only about half an hour here , but the great food and ambiance kept us here longer 😋..the breakfast was really wholesome and fresh . we had the salmon bagel and the hot mess, which was really delicious..would definitely visit here again!

there is no concrete definition that constitutes wholefoods, but in general it is minimally processed  as close to its whole state as possible  .  warren & holt prides itself on serving delicious and nutritious wholefoods for all dietary requirements. . whether you prefer gluten free, diary free or in fact anything free, warren & holt can deliver the dish just the way how you prefer.  produce used in the cafe is certified organic where possible and free from harmful chemicals, toxins and pesticides. they even partner with a qualified nutritionist to deliver maximum nourishment and flavour with every mouthful.

as someone who always picks the most adventurous (or weirdest) option on the menu this cafe drew me like a moth to flame.
unfortunately the food while ‘healthy’ and fresh is quite underwhelming. portions are small and food is overpriced and bland even if accounting for all organic and free range produce.
this place is like a bad version of cornersmith which is just up the road.
we ended up having a second breakfast elsewhere.
