stayed in hilton hotel for 2nightmay21-23 ,and went for birthday dinner in there amazing wakatipu grill on may 22. didnt make any bookings just walkin guest but they were happy to accommodate me and my partner , aaron one of the staff is very lovely the level of service is amazing . his so warmed to us, i can see that he loves his job so much , me and my partner work both in hospitality industry and i can tell that aaron was in the job that he wanted , the food was absolutely stunning. we order two entree which is the scallops and the duck both taste amazing and for the main we just shared the salmon , which cooked perfectly the whole team in kitchen is amazing its worth to dine in here sending loves from auckland ur places is a gem

went here for dinner lastnightwhilst staying at the hilton. i had the ingredient of the month 3 coarse meal (baby carrot) the main was beautiful but the entree and dessert were rather lack lustre and i struggled to find the justification for the price with these two dishes. this is my second occasion dining here and the service/ location was fantastic both times. also noticed that the restaurant was a b grade not sure why but wouldn’t expect this of such a nice establishment.

went here for a wedding lastnightand the place looked amazing! beautiful settings, wonderful service and they were very welcoming. there were plenty of options for the meals which was amazing! i had the scallops for entree and it was so delicious. i had pork belly for main and the flavours was great but the fat was not rendered on it at all. when i cut into it, it all started oozing out which was quite gross. had to scrape it all out so i could eat the meat. dessert was delicious! i would definitely come back to try the a la carte!

the wakatipu grill was the most recommended restaurant of the hilton in queenstown, so we went here for dinner on the firstnightof our queenstown adventure! the restaurant was popular and we had to grab a booking at 8pm. we finished around 10:30, all of our tummies full and happy. we started our meal with a loaf, which came with three dipping sauces.

absolutely fabulous!!
we dined here lastnightand thoroughly enjoyed not only our meals but the surroundings, views and wines aswell. the food was superb, you couldn’t fault it if you tried! our waiter was very friendly and knew what he was talking about. i’d give this 10 stars if i could!
