vito's

been waiting to come to vito’s for a long time.  if you want to have a discussion or debate on where the best cheesesteaksandwichis in utah, then you can’t exclude vito’s from that discussion.  people like to toss around dp cheesesteaks, the philadelphian, moochies, or east coast subs as having the best.  my philly needle still slightly tilts towards moochies and my first ever review of my food blogging career, but with that said.  i would put vito’s dangerously close now to the top of that list.  besides, you can take the bestsandwichfrom any of those places and it is just like picking the ugliest girl from the top 5 finalists of miss universe.  anyway you are coming out a winner.

bountiful gem. vito's is exceptional...from the honor code payment system (cash only...you deposit the money and take your change), to the food. the sandwiches are delicious! the meatballs are juicy, the bread is just right, the philly's taste like they should, and the sauces are mouth-watering. you just can't go wrong!
my only gripe is that i wish they served some deli salads to accompany the sandwiches. when you have asandwichthat good, potato chips just don't cut it!
did i mention warm and friendly service? yes, that too. this guy pretty much runs a one-man show, and he does it with speed, accuracy, and flavor!

good food!. vito's has quickly become a downtown bountiful tradition. great philly-style sandwiches and pasta dishes served out of a trailer at the old stoker school parking lot a block east of main street on 100 south. the sandwiches are mouth-watering. my favorite is the italian philly. the meatballsandwichis also delicious. all the sandwiches i've tried are hot and juicy, so grab an extra napkin! prices are very reasonable for a lot of food, and include a 12-oz can of soda or water and chips. the pasta comes with grilled garlic bread. what a deal! the crowds come even during bad weather. vito is getting ready to move into a brick-and-mortar building on the corner of 100 south and main in bountiful soon--just west of his current parking lot location that has been popular for the past three or four years. if you're looking for a top-notch philly-stylesandwichwith freshly-grilled ingredients, vito's is the place to visit!

to much salt. i went to vito's just expecting to grab a phillysandwichbut when i drove into the parking lot it was packed. they had a very small farmers market going on. great stuff by the way.

the prices has increase to $1 dollar more on all the sandwiches,which i didn't find to appealing consider the size of the sandwich. the flavor of the meat was very salty. maybe i catch a bad day but i couldn't finish it. i am willing to go for another round to see if it got better.

the owner is very nice, had a great conversation with him.
