last meal good. about once a week i need a dose of vitamin v's amazing sandwiches. you really cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. that said, you must try his signature philly cheese steak. the man knows how to make a sandwich.

had classic philly and meatball subs. price was about $7.50 a piece which included chips and drinks. we haven't had many other subs to compare these to, but we thought they were awesome and would definitely go back. make sure you have cash. your cash goes in a basket and you make your own change. we got there at 1:30 pm after the rush and luckily he wasn't out of what we wanted.

vito's is an icon for bountiful. the owner cooks all the food and the quality is outstanding. his menu is philly cheesesteak sandwiches, and a few others such as meatball and reuben. the price is under $10 for a single 7" (very filling), or your can order a double 14" for a little less than twice the price. most singles cost $9-10 and include a fountain drink and bag of chips. everyone of them is made from scratch, even the sauces. there's always a line unless you get there before the crowd, and some days he runs out of certain items. he's only open from 11-2pm monday through saturday for lunch. no dinners. you have to try this; it will bring you back.

finally had a chance to try vito's. amazing food and awesome service. we tried the mushroom philly, meatball, and ravioli with both meat sauce and alfredo. everything tastes great! will definitely go back whenever possible.

i have been wanting to try this place based on the reviews. i've tried to go to vito's on three separate occasions, all three times they have been closed. granted the first trip there was around dinner time and i wasn't aware of the hours. the other two were at lunch time, well between the hours of operation. today there was actually a note on the door saying sorry they were closed. it's getting frustrating to go out of my way to try this place especially when i am trying to take customers for work, only to find out that we have to turn around and go somewhere else. i don't usually leave bad reviews. hopefully one of these days they'll be open and i'll get to try the food.

been waiting to come to vito’s for a long time.  if you want to have a discussion or debate on where the best cheesesteak sandwich is in utah, then you can’t exclude vito’s from that discussion.  people like to toss around dp cheesesteaks, the philadelphian, moochies, or east coast subs as having the best.  my philly needle still slightly tilts towards moochies and my first ever review of my food blogging career, but with that said.  i would put vito’s dangerously close now to the top of that list.  besides, you can take the best sandwich from any of those places and it is just like picking the ugliest girl from the top 5 finalists of miss universe.  anyway you are coming out a winner.

this place is amazing! not only are the phillys out of this world, but so is the pasta and homemade alfredo sauce. vito is a great guy! i'm sad it's closed at nights but i understand why. we don't want vito to get burned out!

often, it’s the simplest things in life that work their way to greatness. vito leone started as a bountiful street vendor in 2007, serving meatball subs, sausage sandwiches and ravioli from a food cart. eventually, he started appearing at farmers markets and graduated to a 20-foot trailer. leone now has a permanent location on bountiful’s picturesque main street. but even with the brick & mortar location, leone is still the man behind the counter, calling many of his customers by name, taking orders and cooking them up himself. he can serve you 10 different types of philly sandwiches: blue cheese, cream cheese, deluxe, tomato, mushroom, jalapeño, garlic, alfredo, italian and classic. you can choose between 7-inch ($8.50) or 14-inch ($13.50); both options come with chips and a drink. i had the classic philly, with thin-sliced steak, powerful peppers, onions and swiss-blend cheese all m

i've only been to vito's once. but i was confused as to how to pay for my order. the food was really good. do not like the fact i can't have it on weekends i know i'd eat it a lot more and introduce it to my other family members.

very good philly's which rival some i've had in philly. a great reuben as well. i haven't tried their other food but i can only assume it is good. owner run and operated by a guy who cares about the food he puts out.

amazing italian street food!. this amazing little restaurant on quaint and quiet main street serves the best meatballs in the state. they are juicy and delicious. not salty like what previous reviewers said. i love the meatball subs piled high with tomato sauce and the world renowned meatballs. i love vito's and i definitely will visit vito's again.

high end mall food. nothing special. the no credit card/cash only policy was strange. they did not have any means to add up the order.

bountiful gem. vito's is exceptional...from the honor code payment system (cash only...you deposit the money and take your change), to the food. the sandwiches are delicious! the meatballs are juicy, the bread is just right, the philly's taste like they should, and the sauces are mouth-watering. you just can't go wrong!
my only gripe is that i wish they served some deli salads to accompany the sandwiches. when you have a sandwich that good, potato chips just don't cut it!
did i mention warm and friendly service? yes, that too. this guy pretty much runs a one-man show, and he does it with speed, accuracy, and flavor!
