duck confit. ate there last night
the duck confit was dry. it is should be cooked in it's own fat. this duck however was not.
the steak was good.
overall not the bestfrenchfood.
look elsewhere.

vincent a little cheap on truefrenchcooking. we planned a large gathering at vincent's months in advance, for 16 people. the meal was average, and in one instance, below average: a lox appetizer arrived with the black part of the fish, disguised by a melted cheese. the chef is not only cutting corners, but serving less than standard fare. it used to be a better restaurant. we were rushed to finish a planned, expensive dinner. the chef forced his wait-staff to clear dishes before everyone was finished, and the chef himself rushed us out before 9:30 pm, as if we were in a cheap diner ready to close at midnight.

aloof service, spendy, aveerage entrees. the soups at this agingfrenchrestaurant are excellent, in contrast to the average beef tenderloin entree and a fair creme brulee for dessert. from the time we were seated, we were greeted with staff that were either less than enthusiastic or best described as aloof. the cocktail waiter offered no wine suggestions. we were told that they ran out of the lobster bisque, which appears on this online menu. the entrees were lukewarm.

great service.... scott is amazing. we have only been in a few times but he always remembers our names and turns around our order very fast. we ordered eggs in a hole andfrenchtoast both look unique and taste great.

if dining with a busload of senior citizens on bland utterly boring wannabefrenchfood, this is the place for you. when i pointed out that my entree was smaller than a normal appetizer, the chef, vincent asked me what did i expect for $10.00. the answer is so much more. bad service, rude chef, bad food. try sans soucie in cave creek. realfrenchfood there.
