this has old schoolbarwritten all over it. their logo rocks!

the beer selection is excellent. we had 2 pizzas - bacon, sausage and roasted garlic. these pies are not the thin crust you would get at 5th street. they are a bit thicker but cooked a bit longer so the crust is nice and crispy. normally this is not the kind of pizza i would go for but it was excellent

downside. i'd hate to see this place in the light. very dirty. i'd be afraid to see how the pizza is made!

great local find!! friendly service,fresh ingredients and cold beer. by the looks of thebaryou would never guess the pizza was so great!

wow!. grew up in maumee, but only get back for 10-year reunions. this is one of those. discovered village idiot strolling conant street, reminiscing. excellent! had a dark beer (don't recall name, but it was tap-drawn) that was superb. had a pizza that was great also. and the folks at thebarand the pizza window are friendly! might be another ten years, but i'll definitely be back!!!

my friends and i have always included thisbarin our pub crawls around the city and it has never let us down. great pizza and a wide choice of drinks. atmosphere is fun and relaxed and a great place for lunch.
