sadly this is my second time here. i was here for thanksgiving and it was sobadthat even though i said i would never return the manager gave me 3 $50 gift cards. i finally decided to use them to bring my parents to their sunday brunch. i am sorry i did. the breakfast foods are mostly good as long as i overlooked the food being cold and eggs benedict on an english muffin so petrified i could not cut it even with a steak knife. in fact when i asked for the steak knife the waitress saw it on my plate and said, "oh yeah those, we don't know why but every time they are hard enough that some people bite into them and hurt their teeth." nothing was labeled so asked what a meat dish was and was told, "oh that's the brisket. it's good, it's the one thing we are willing to eat." well, his standards are lower than even my cat's as it was sobadi took one bite and skipped the rest. overall the place is overbooked with too many bridal and baby showers that didn't fit in the space, the food is cold, and the desert table was a disjointed mess of picked over and half eaten former food items that resemble freetown, sierra leone during their civil war. the lunch foods are inedible, the deserts unappetizing, the mimosas pre-made in carafes and very weak, but the breakfast foods are tolerable as long as you can overlook english muffins that qualify as registered weapons under ny's safe act and allegedly hot foods served colder than room temperature. while the facility is nice, the staff is woefully inadequate.
