vietnam sub & grill

the vermicelli bowls are good and so are the spring rolls. i do not enjoy thesubsthough. the meat that they put on thesubsis bland and tastes like it’s been heated up in the microwave instead of made fresh to order.

subs are the best in the city but definitely one of the bettersubsyou'll find in this area. the broth here is incredible!! comparable to pho van which is in the same complex. still can't decide which i like better but seriously good pho broth here! my husband and i come here lots! staff are so friendly =)

new spicy sate pho!!! must try!. they introduced spicy sate curry pho recently. if you like spicy this is a must try! the broth is quite thick and amazingly tasty. never had anything like it before. it is really hard to go back and eat regular pho after trying this dish. highly recommended...

got to try pho!. i have been eating here for a while and cannot seem to find tasty pho anywhere else in the area, like here. absolutely delicious!

delicious.... thesubsare tasty and very filling. the vermicelli is amazing, huge portion, lots of meat and the sauce tops it up. the prices are very decent. you have got to try it.

needs more fillings in the subs.... i had an assorted meat sub and was not impressed with how little veggies and how super thin the meats were in my sub. i was quite disappointed in the quantity - as it was mostly bread i was eating. i remember the good old days where thesubswere stuffed with meat and veggies. don't think i'll be going back.

one of the bestsubsin town. i've eaten vietnamesesubseverywhere and this place rank right at the top, especially the satay sub. their grill pork & rice dish are delicious.

great take out...... it's awesome that we've found this little take out place while in line waiting to get our truck washed. we've ordered the deluxe vermicelli & got the sate beefsubs& mango bubble tea for our sons. they didn't have a lot of parking space so we were glad that our food was ready by the time our truck was done. their food was tasty and fresh and everything was still nice and warm by the time we got home. their mango bubble tea was very refreshing as well. overall, it's a great little take out place with friendly staffs that's close to home. we will definitely return but will phone in ahead to order so our food will be ready for pick up just incase of parking issues. we've tried various vietnamese restaurants around the northwest but nothing really stands out until we found this place. nothing better than having some good food after a long day at work and not up for cooking dinner :)

cheap. i had vietnamesesubsfrom all over calgary and this is by far the worst sub place ever. can we say cheap? omg i had the chicken sate sub and i thought i ordered a vegetarian sub. where is the meat?? i thought online they said theirsubsare $6 (which is pricey to begin with). but they ended up charging us $7 per sub. which you would assume was for extra meat but there was no freaking meat. because this place is close to our house we tried it 3 times in hopes that it was just a bad day. but all three times, they were so cheap on the meat. for that price i expect more meat than other viet places. i will avoid this place forever!!!

sub par subs!. i've tried thesubsa few times and everytime they seem to get worse! the chicken and beef haa been cold and there is very little of it. a better option is to drive the extra few minutes to the bakery in huntington hills. they don't charge you for cheese and the beef or chicken is actually hot (what a concept). thesubsat the bakery are large enough to split for a couple of bucks cheaper. it's unfourtunate since i live so close...but....i won't be returning.

not good..... we went there for twosubsand a bubble tea -- thesubswere not good but i am a fan of thi-thi in east downtown so this just does not measure up and the bubble tea was powder with a little real fruit in it. i figured it was an attempt to save money on the fresh fruit part. overall, very disappointing.

delicioussubsat great value! already a repeat customer since their sub specials include a piping hot spring roll with pop/water for under 7 bucks. the bread is light and crusty on the outside while the inside is soft and airy. they don't skimp on the fillings, so i tend to make one sub into two small meals. their service is also both fast and friendly. finally, a good bang-for-the-buck banh mi in the north west.
