needs more fillings in the subs.... i had an assorted meat sub and was not impressed with how little veggies and how super thin the meats were in my sub. i was quite disappointed in the quantity - as it was mostly bread i was eating. i remember the good old days where the subs were stuffed with meat and veggies. don't think i'll be going back.

one of the best subs in town. i've eaten vietnamese subs everywhere and this place rank right at the top, especially the satay sub. their grill pork & rice dish are delicious.
yeah, it quick and conenient to pickup food here, great service!

best vietnamese food i've had in a long time. i'm a regular customer and this is one of the best places to have authentic vietnamese cuisine. ive had vietnamese food at many many places in calgary and very few compare to this place. cozy interior, high quality ingredients, friendly people, low msg, full of flavour, good quality portions and fair prices. i have yet to find a place that has as good pho and pho broth as this place. its so full of flavour and so rich of quality herbs and spices, not watered down like most places.

i like this restaurant more than pho van. they might be a buck or two more expensive comparing to pho van but its better. it's definitely a great place if you are looking for a quick lunch.

finally found a place around country hills. finally found a place by my house that doesn't have gross vietnamese food. this place is pretty solid. i'm not going to say it is amazing or anything but ordered takeout and the food was pretty good and i enjoyed my meal. staff was pretty friendly too which is a bonus. got a sate beef vermicelli bowl with spring rolls and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. compared to other places around this area this place is by far the best. i will defiantly be going back here when i need my vietnamese fix.

great take out...... it's awesome that we've found this little take out place while in line waiting to get our truck washed. we've ordered the deluxe vermicelli & got the sate beef subs & mango bubble tea for our sons. they didn't have a lot of parking space so we were glad that our food was ready by the time our truck was done. their food was tasty and fresh and everything was still nice and warm by the time we got home. their mango bubble tea was very refreshing as well. overall, it's a great little take out place with friendly staffs that's close to home. we will definitely return but will phone in ahead to order so our food will be ready for pick up just incase of parking issues. we've tried various vietnamese restaurants around the northwest but nothing really stands out until we found this place. nothing better than having some good food after a long day at work and not up for cooking dinner :)

cheap. i had vietnamese subs from all over calgary and this is by far the worst sub place ever. can we say cheap? omg i had the chicken sate sub and i thought i ordered a vegetarian sub. where is the meat?? i thought online they said their subs are $6 (which is pricey to begin with). but they ended up charging us $7 per sub. which you would assume was for extra meat but there was no freaking meat. because this place is close to our house we tried it 3 times in hopes that it was just a bad day. but all three times, they were so cheap on the meat. for that price i expect more meat than other viet places. i will avoid this place forever!!!

i've been to this place twice and have been disappointed both times. the first time i had their vermicelli bowl and was disappointed with their fish sauce. it was way too sweet and almost made the whole thing inedible. the second time i has their beef noodle soup and once again found that the broth was too sweet. unfortunately you can tell that they don't take the time to make their beef broth the right way and instead try to make up for it by adding sugar, salt and msg to make it taste good.

we love it!. great taste on top of great value. and its in the n.w! this place is much better than the other few vietnamese restaurants up here in this area. the food is fresh, giving it the feel of a home cooked meal. all the salad rolls are a must try. they are not skimpy with the meat and the rolls are very flavorful. the people running the place are very friendly and actually recognize us, which makes us feel very welcomed each time. this place is definitely highly recommended by us (2 busy people who can't always cook on the regular)

you've got to have it!. so, the grilled chicken salad rolls are to die for. we've tried them from other vietnamese restaurants, and there are none that do they up near as well. the chicken is juicy and delicious, the rolls full but not overstuffed. 3 rolls cost just over $5.

we've also tried the vermicelli dishes from here as well, fairly typical as vermicelli goes. we definitely enjoy the flavour and presentation.

the shop owners are very friendly and ready to serve up some great food. take out or eat in at a handful of roomy 2 person tables or grab a seat along the long counter by the kitchen. (we usually take out...easier with a young family).

this is a small gem hidden in country hills, give it a try!

sub par subs!. i've tried the subs a few times and everytime they seem to get worse! the chicken and beef haa been cold and there is very little of it. a better option is to drive the extra few minutes to the bakery in huntington hills. they don't charge you for cheese and the beef or chicken is actually hot (what a concept). the subs at the bakery are large enough to split for a couple of bucks cheaper. it's unfourtunate since i live so close...but....i won't be returning.
