the place is small with good home style cajun cooking. the staff is friendly and helpful. light zydeco music in the background helps with the atmospere of the place. daily specials for the day was smothered okra with chicken and sausage, steak and gravy, smothered potatoes, i stayed safe and ordered gumbo. da juice was good... da chicken was da white meat. dat was good. thesausageseemed like a mix sausage.... good but i prefer straight pork sausage. rabedeaux brand is my personal favorite. potato salad could have been better but that's a personal preference thing.
dessert was a turtle brownie. very yummy.
overall a very good place for a great home cooked meal. i'd eat here often to keep my stomach full and happy.
