yum!. for a while, i was on the frozen yogurt kick (just like pretty much everyone else it seems). when my hubby and i went to italy, it got very warm and we decided to get some gelato. it was like rich, cold, creamy heaven in a bowl. too bad it's an entire ocean and half a continent away, right? wrong! the gelato at vanilgia ecioccolatowas exactly like the gelato i had while sitting in front of the trevi fountain in rome--it is that authentic and delicious. the presentation of each flavor is beautiful. the baccio flavor is my favorite, and if you like nutella or chocolate hazelnut then i highly recommend it. the spumoni is unique and traditional, and nothing like the boxed kind you find with the same name in the grocery store. we will be back again to try a shake!
