oh, the green sauce. just drown everything in it; it's so delicious! they also have an impressive cocktail program and a fabulous brunch (be warned, you'll probably have to wait for a table).lovethat the outside patio is sandy, don'tlovethat it's on a busy street.

we tried the ancho chili braised short ribs. omg! words can’t describe how good this is. we also had the hanger steak with chimi churri. perfectly cooked and topped with an excellent chimi churri sauce. ceviche was really fresh and bit on the sweet side. i prefer mine tangier. we accidentally got a dish that we had not ordered… chocolate baby back ribs. with myloveof the combination of chili and chocolate, this was a very happy mistake indeed!

a great place. manage your own expectations before you part the blue striped awning inside the door and enter the hole-in-the-wall that is valencia luncheria. this is not your typical overpriced, all show and no substance fairfield county "hot spot".

is it small, yes. is it cramped at times, absolutely but if you want to experience something different and delicious, this is the place.

the arepas are crispy, hot, wonderful and stuffed with creative fillings and combinations. the empenadas are terrific and filled with delightful fillings.

i am an old fish guy and ilovethe cerviche, a must have.

bring cash, there is an atm right up the street, walking distance in fact.

i was introduced to this by a friend who was actually in the ddd spot and have been back 5 or 6 times since. i keep going back.

great but not as good as it was. we stilllovethis place--good for vegetarians but lately the food has not been as good and it's getting more expensive.
last sunday i ordered the chicken with citrus dish and it was tough as an old towel. i have had better, tenderer chicken from trader joes.

they offered me something else but at point, having waited 45 minutes for a table and another 20 to be served i was tired. cordially they took it off the bill.
