upre kitchen & cafe

i went with my bunch of buddies over here. we had green chilli chicken, pan-fried fish, chicken mughlai, veg fried rice, penne arrabiata pasta, chilli paneer, naans. it was reallygreatand the vibes are just awesome.

this has been one of my favourite places in bhubaneswar for quite a while. service was good.greatambiance.

the food wasgreatand especially sanjay was quite helpful he suggestedgreatoptions.

the reshmi chicken tikka was amazing

the service by mr. nirmal was excellent and the food wasgreatespecially the biryani and chicken tikka.

i’ll be sharing my experience about the silk route buffet hosted by oopre.

i had seen a lot of food bloggers praising this buffet and had to jump on the wagon and visit it. the place was very tight fitted. the decor and seating was nice but the buffet wasn’t serving anything as to what was advertised.

the pizza and pasta we had to preorder as they had no pieces left. that took an hour to come the pizza and pasta. one of the employees was willing to pack up the pizza for us because by the time they served it to us it was closing time for the buffet but another employee was causing issues.

the pasta was not cooked so i’m not sure why it took 1 hour to be prepared. the pizza was slim and burnt.

the buffet was very limited, prawn curry was literally just prawns in water, rice was plain white rice and the they had a few chicken dishes but the best was the dragon chicken. there were no cakes or gulab jamuns left for us to eat. the waiter said we can serve more but that is extra charge. the one waiter would just not cooperate. he was rushing us as we were for the buffet but the table next to us who ordered a la carte he let them take their time.

oopre usually serves somegreatdishes but the buffet isn’t worth it, especially not with the staff who are managing the buffet sector.

found a perfect place to hangout with good food and ambience. ambience is pretty cool with a white blue theme. they have both indoor and outdoor sitting arrangements. a place for photoshoot and pre-wedding shoots.
coming to food... they have many varieties in the menu. surprisingly whatever we ordered turned out to be yummy. pizza, starters, refreshers, dessert everything was delicious. chicken starters are must try and even the bbq chicken pizza too. my personal favourite was bbq chicken and chicken tikka.
service was on time and staffs were very friendly.
price was lil high but it was worth paying for such amazing food and ambience. had agreattime here. gonna visit again.

excellent experience! we were a group with a small baby and sameer single handedly served us so well!!! the food wasgreatand the service was super fast. sameer was very helpful in arranging high chair for the baby. highly recommend upre!

pros:greatambience, good crowd and beautiful decor. they play good music too.
cons: very limited number of items on their veg menu. hookah was average.

would recommend visiting this place simply for its vibe. in the food items, i really liked their mushroom cheese tikka, honey chilli potato and sizzling brownie.

deducting one point for the extremely limited veg menu.

great ambience, where they've clubbed together an open-air terrace setup alongside a patio seating system, that gives the feel of a courtyard. they know what they've written on their menu, & don't disappoint. what's more? there'sgreatmusic as well! overall agreatoption for spending some quality time!

i had ordered veg stroganoff and delicious will be an understatement.
the soup we ordered were average and the service for pepper mushroom was really slow. it took a while there.
in a nutshell, it's a chill place to hangout as it givesgreatvibes with the moroccan-like interiors. the place should have more finger food options. it cost us 1700 approx for 2 persons at lunch.

the food quantity is enough to fulfill you and the taste isgreatas well. we ordered khou shey and it's more than enough for one individual if you order any starters. we also ordered fish fingers which was good and drums of heaven which was spicy. the place has a good ambience and good tastes good but feels a little overpriced. good to go occasionally to feel fancy.

great place .greatambience. they have open rooftop as well as air-conditioned rooms for dining. very good staff. very good food. you can enjoy the rooftop area of this place more if you visit here in the evening.
