fish and chips. the best fish and chips in bloomington. their brews are also very good. there is lots of outdoor seating when the weather is nice. the only down side is that when the restaurant is full, it is noisy. and it is always full.

great buffalo burger. great beer.

good stuff!. i ordered some delicious nachos to start out with. the nachos were a meal in themselves. i also ordered fish and chips which was also delicious. i washed it down with a helios upland's pale ale. this was my first visit to upland and i definitely will be back. the wait staff was friendly and while they were very busy as the time my waitress made it clear that she was trying her best. several delicious items on the menu i can't wait to try out.

poor service. my husband and i recently decided to have lunch at upland and we were very excited to try it out, as we are new to the bloomington area. we were extremely disappointed by the service, but satisfied by the food. upon being seated at our table, it took our waiter about 15 minutes to even come to the table. after that, he brought us our drinks and pretty much never came back. we waited about a half hour just for him to come back to the table to take our order-- they had a decent lunch crowd but weren't packed, as there were multiple open tables. when he came back, he didn't even mention or apologize about having us wait. then, after he took our order, we waited another half hour for our food to come out, which we only received after flagging down the waiter and asking for it. he never came back to ask how the food was, and when we wanted the bill, after again not seeing the waiter, we had to flag him down again. overall, the food was tasty but the service was dreadful.

we love upland beer and their food. they have expanded their seating space and paired down their menu. we love the nachos, you must get large sides of the guacamole, salsa, & sour cream. we tend towards our favorites when we visit; mac and cheese, fish and chips, breaded tenderloin. you won't go wrong eating at this restaurant.

very good beers in several styles-the dragonfly ipa is excellent as is the komodo dragonfly black ipa, and my favorite the seasonal weizen. a good menu-burgers are good as is the chili. specials are hit and miss but worth trying.

the beer is amazing--i love the upland wheat. the outdoor seating is a great place to have a beer and enjoy the outdoors. the food is amazing, too! they have typical bar food but it seems to have an upscale twist, and very creative. it's definitely one of the best spots in bloomington for food and drinks!

me and my co-workers are regular regulars. we love the beer, enjoy the food, and appreciate the service.
we refer to upland as our "southern office".

dreadful customer service. unlike other independent restaurants in town upland will not allow customers to, e.g., choose grains and veggies already on the menu and combine them to make a nutritious vegan meal. your only option is their unhealthful, deep-fried fake meat sandwich. i've been a customer for years, but won't go back.

omg... their pulled pork fries were amazing. i had never tried a buffalo burger before but i will again after the one i had here and it was half pound so get ready to stuff your face only complaint would be to tart of cole slaw

the place has alright food for the price but the manager can be a real prick if you complain about your food (ie; asked for medium rare came well done)

upland burger and fries. patty can be beef, buffalo, chicken, or black bean. i highly recommend the buffalo!

i have my eyes on you. tonight me and my loving wife katelyn went to upland brewery to purchase a growler. upon entering the establishment we were greeted with nothing but hostility. not only did they refuse to serve me because we were a few minutes late but the manager accused me of stealing their tip money. i left in a huff and i won't be returning anytime soon. and because we were not able to purchase beer from the brewery we were forced to get a case of blue moon which was fabulous. would never recommend this brewery.

loved it!. we were fortunate enough to visit this restaurant during their oktoberfest celebration weekend. they had a limited menu, but of great german dishes. the food was so good and the beer-on-tap selections were awesome. we definitely plan to go back.
