poor service. my husband and i recently decided to have lunch at upland and we were very excited to try it out, as we are new to thebloomingtonarea. we were extremely disappointed by the service, but satisfied by the food. upon being seated at our table, it took our waiter about 15 minutes to even come to the table. after that, he brought us our drinks and pretty much never came back. we waited about a half hour just for him to come back to the table to take our order-- they had a decent lunch crowd but weren't packed, as there were multiple open tables. when he came back, he didn't even mention or apologize about having us wait. then, after he took our order, we waited another half hour for our food to come out, which we only received after flagging down the waiter and asking for it. he never came back to ask how the food was, and when we wanted the bill, after again not seeing the waiter, we had to flag him down again. overall, the food was tasty but the service was dreadful.
