union jack pub

it is styled after a british pub. complete with dark wood and big pints and mugs of beer. one of thegreatthings about this place is the “open-air” seating in the bar dining room. along the outside wall they have seating at a bar  with a mini garage door and windows. on nice days the door can be opened and it is like sitting outside on the sidewalk. only better. you don’t need to worry about rain or pesky birds. it also gives you a chance to chat with passers-by. who will either smile and talk back or hurry off; scared by two old louts in a bar. most people were sociable and we did have a fun time. pat’s back a new friend what is interesting about this joint is although it is an english pub when it comes to food they are really noted for their italian beef sandwiches and deep dish pizza . patrick lived in chicago several

good food andgreatwaitress!!!!. i came in this place after sitting in another place down the street for 30 minutes. i was guaranteed by my waitress (can't remember her name but she had a distinct northern accent) that that wouldn't happen here. she was right. i had the blt with the eggs on the top and it was amazing for such a basic sandwich! i loved the ambiance of this place and am coming back when i come back in town. one restaurants loss is another's gain!

really nice little pub with decent vegan options and tons ofgreatrotating beer on tap. friendly service always. my only gripe is that the food is a little basic, certainly nothing spectacular or particularly interesting about their food. would still recommend for a cozy evening out in broad ripple.

had a nice time at union jacks withgreatservice and atmosphere. very chill place with lots of beer options! the wings were nice and crispy however the buffalo sauce seemed watered down. onion rings had a lot of breading but were pretty good with a tasty dipping sauce. meat head deep dish was packed with ingredients and delicious, only critique was the crust was a bit dry. definitely going back for more pizza and to try some of the sandwiches and signature items.

the food was also solid. they had a classyish brunch menu to go with the saturday football games (both types, as manchester united was playing in the main bar area, which got very loud in very british fashion very quickly once the game started).

my wife got their pizza, which as everybody apparently knows, it what you're supposed to get here. i had a patty melt type thing that was adequate, but nothing special.

the atmosphere wasgreatthough, and if i were wanting to watch a game with friends, this would be high on my list of places i wish were in my hometown. but alas it's way down in indy, so you all better keep showing the place some love.

they have a really well curated draft list as well asgreatbottle selections. the pizzas here live up to the hype, they are excellent.

the atmosphere isgreatwith very genuine servers. if you catch a soccer match in there, the energy is awesome and they always open early for matches.

love this place!. this place is one of my favorites! the trivia isgreatand the food is even better. the staff is so nice and fun, and they make you want to visit again. i definitely recommend the pizza. it's fantastic.

breakfast pizza was pretty good. potatoes & bacon on the side were good too. our service wasn't as good as in the past, but maybe an odd morning.

sunday breakfast is very good!. grabbed breakfast here last sunday morning. sampled the "biscuits & gravy". the gravy was pretty good, but the biscuits were somewhat hard and dry. the "breakfast wrap" was absolutely fantastic and they don't skimp on the stuffings - very large. the "three egg omelet" was good and they weren't stingy here wither with the stuffings. our service wasgreattoo.

good pizza & breaded tenderloin!. had the "chips & queso" for an appetizer. the cheese was decent tasting but i've had much better. the breaded tenderloin was very good tasting and decent sized. we also sampled a pepperoni & sausage pizza on their original crust and it too was very good! the service was excellent!

great saturday afternoon spot!. they havegreatvegetarian options, nothing healthy but delicious. and their bloody mary is so good!

i think we might become regulars. early friday night dinner date with my wife at union jack in broad ripple.
started the night with a wee mac scottish brown ale, the wife had a murphy's red irish, and we ordered the mushrooms for an app. the mushrooms were fresh, lightly battered, and had a very nice dipping sauce. paired with our beers it was agreatway to start off the meal. for the entree i ordered the fish and chips which were almost perfect! my wife had the breaded tenderloin which was the most delicious tribute to the hoosier tradition that we have ever tasted. at the end of our meal our awesome waiter casey offered us samples of the local craft specials which were all pretty dang good. even though it was busy casey was very attentive through the entire meal andgreatto talk to. before we left my wife said to me "that's what your local pub service is suppossed to be like". on our way out casey said to us "thanks for letting me help in finding you a favorite pub". well, with thegreatfood and drink, awesome service, and epl and usmnt coverage i think we might just become regulars! slainte

great food and staff!. visited union jack in broadripple last night for dinner with a friend and had agreattime. the staff and service is stellar, as was the food. we really enjoyed the irish nachos, which is agreattwist on regular nachos, made with potatoes rather than tortilla chips. the cuban sandwich is very authentic and well worth trying. my friend thoroughly enjoyed the bird stew, which is served in a fresh bread bowl. oh, and here's something not to miss...have a salad with their house honey jalapeno dressing...it's out of this world!

union jack pub.greatchopped salad and the small is plenty for two. lots of good veggies. we ordered two sandwiches with side and had way too much food. we could have easily split the sandwich, also. sandwiches also very good.

great pizza. still the best pizza, new york style is awesome. atmosphere not what it was in the old says but still agreatneighborhood pub.
