ever since my first visit to ty's back on july 29th (see my review), i've become a regular. i normally get a jumbo pork sandwich, which i absolutely love. today i decided to try a half rack of ty's pork ribs. half wet half dry. i've hadribsfrom a few memphis 'que joints who claim theirs are the best in the area. theribsi devoured at ty's were so flavorful, tender and juicy. fall-off-the-bone delicious. the wet half lightly covered in ty's signature glaze, which added a perfect blend of sweetness with a little kick. the dry seasoned half added a wonderful blend of spices and flavor, also with a little kick. they were definitely the bestribsi've ever eaten. i've been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here. i was a central bbq (midtown) regular for several years. that all changed after my first visit to ty's. the food and service are excellent. worth the 20+ minute drive from midtown.

absolutely positively one of the very best pulled pork sandwiches i've ever eaten. the pork was so tender, juicy and flavorful. loved the mild and smoky sauces too. and not too sweet. ty and his staff are very friendly and welcoming. prices are very reasonable. i was hesitant to try another bbq place. my usual is central bbq in midtown. then i got an email about a special ty's was having on getmyperks . com. only $5 for $10 worth of food and drink. i am so glad i took advantage of that special. will definitely be back, on a regular basis that is.
