why on earth is the rating for this place as high as it currently is?! went here fordinnertoday, very excited, left completely disappointed. the vegetables were frozen (taste like vegetables from a frozen costco bag), the food took over an hour, and the meat was so plain, mashed potatoes cold. the place is tiny and because food came so damn slow i suspect they have one cook in the back with he waiter swinging between the kitchen and the dining area to help. the restaurant was mostly occupies by their usual familiar customers. this location is moving june 18... good luck in attracting new customers and actually keeping them interested. what a waste of money.

pretty good, would go back. i ended up there randomly on valentine's day, because i was too late to make reservations anywhere else. they had a special menu with a 3 coursedinnerfor $25/person. the first choice was between soup and salad. the soup they had that night was something with meatballs, so i picked that and it was excellent! i am very picky when it comes to soup, but theirs was perfect - exactly the way my ukrainian grandma used to make it. then came a schnitzel stuffed with cheese, which was alright - too thick and a little over fried for my taste. they had a few choices of dessert and nothing sounded particularly exciting to me, but i opted out for apple strudel and it was excellent. the service was nice and friendly, and the place is cozy. even thought i was a little disapointed with the main entree, i'd definitely go back to try something else.

mmmm loved it. i was not sure about this place when i arrived but when i left i was more then happy! i felt like i was invited into a familydinnerwith real home made food. this place is delicious and the prices are fair. you leave full and you are immediately thinking about who you can tell to try it out.
