best schnitzel ever! schnitzel is the size of your plate, potato salad is amazing! you can choose your own salad or soup and all soups are homemade! friendly service without being overbearing. new location is good and bright. every meal is wonderful and the prices are really reasonable. there's another restaurant in the area that does schnitzel but it's nowhere near as good. you have to try it; it's amazing! yum!

why on earth is the rating for this place as high as it currently is?! went here for dinner today, very excited, left completely disappointed. the vegetables were frozen (taste like vegetables from a frozen costco bag), the food took over an hour, and the meat was so plain, mashed potatoes cold. the place is tiny and because food came so damn slow i suspect they have one cook in the back with he waiter swinging between the kitchen and the dining area to help. the restaurant was mostly occupies by their usual familiar customers. this location is moving june 18... good luck in attracting new customers and actually keeping them interested. what a waste of money.

simply one of the finest places you can dine at!. this place is a slice of heaven. the food is completely outstanding with portion sizes that put a huge smile on your face. the food has that special homemade flare that allows your tastebuds to sing with joy. we particularly liked the quiet and pleasent atmosphere with a tranquil blend of soft music that complemented our wonderful meal.

the waiter was so pleasent to talk to and was so knowledgable in helping us choose the perfect meal. the chef even came out and asked our opinion on what we thought of our meal. it was such a fantastic meal that we just didn't want to leave. we truly enjoyed the customized mom and pop dinning experience.

if you want real authentic german cuisine and a tranquil dining experience just don't forget to go to this amazing resturant.

the best. we attended this restaurant on august 10/12 and the food and service was excellent. we had the schnitzel and perogies and we ended up taking half of the meal home. the portions were more than enough and everything was cooked to perfection. i would definetely recommend this restaurant to anyone in kitchener.

pretty good, would go back. i ended up there randomly on valentine's day, because i was too late to make reservations anywhere else. they had a special menu with a 3 course dinner for $25/person. the first choice was between soup and salad. the soup they had that night was something with meatballs, so i picked that and it was excellent! i am very picky when it comes to soup, but theirs was perfect - exactly the way my ukrainian grandma used to make it. then came a schnitzel stuffed with cheese, which was alright - too thick and a little over fried for my taste. they had a few choices of dessert and nothing sounded particularly exciting to me, but i opted out for apple strudel and it was excellent. the service was nice and friendly, and the place is cozy. even thought i was a little disapointed with the main entree, i'd definitely go back to try something else.

top drawer schnitzel. cabbage rolls are legendary, and i dumped my girlfriend for the prague schnitzel.

definetly comfort food, the food was served hot and fresh. i felt very at home here, you can tell the food here is prepared from the heart and ingredients used are natural and fresh. the service was good, and the portions large for a very affordable price. highly recommended, i will be back.

mmmm loved it. i was not sure about this place when i arrived but when i left i was more then happy! i felt like i was invited into a family dinner with real home made food. this place is delicious and the prices are fair. you leave full and you are immediately thinking about who you can tell to try it out.
