top 5 burgers in dfw. in the realm of dfw burger joints, twisted root is a serious contender. i recently experienced one of the newer twisted root locations (currently totaling 3 at the time of this review). i've had it plenty times before, but on my last visit, i did something new and it paid off big time...
standard, the burgers come medium well. i asked for mine medium and what an enhancement that made! normally they're plenty good as is, but this took it up a notch. this specific peppercorn ranch & bacon made me like twisted root even more than i ever did before! try it medium.
the western burger, with pepperjack, bacon, jalepeño & an onion ring, is also worth a visit. the richardson location is fine, but visit the deep ellum venue for the authentic/original twisted root experience.
