well done!. i went totucci'sfor the first time and had dinner on the sidewalk cafe tonight. kudos to chad, my server, who orchestrated a great meal--he knows everything about the food on the menu, knows his wines, does his job with class and has genuine enthusiasm about doing a good job. the italian bread came with olive oil and crushed garlic for dipping--yum! the salad was excellent. the chicken scallopini was deliciously tender and creamy. the gelato and coffee was the perfect wind up. next time i have to try the aribiata!

timothy malavolti. had another superb dinner date last friday night with my wife; both of us enjoyed our food and the great service by the restaurant manager, chad. as he has done on previous visits. he always helps us in selection of our choice oftucci'sspecials, ie my filet was just perfectly cooked and my wife's pesto pizza hit the spot along his choice of matching wine. also, the house salad with lemonata dressing is really refreshing and enjoyable. the atmosphere is quaint, includes a choice of available outdoor seating. chad always greets us personally and always makes our meal memorable and makes sure it prepared our liking.

fantastic food. last night i went totucci'sfor the first time with my brother and his girlfriend. the selection was great and our server, chad, gave us great suggestions. we each got different dishes and each was delicious. all the flavours were vivid and complemented each other well. chad's service was great, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. i will definitely be going back whenever i'm in tulsa again.

romantic, delicious food, and perfect service.. perfect place for a romantic dinner or drinks. this is the second time we have beentucci'sand it is without a doubt one of our favorite restaurants and our favorite italian restaurant. the first time we visited we sat on the patio. the service was great and the food was excellent. most recently, 9/10/14, i took my wife there for our anniversary. i called the day before and spoke with the hostess, sara, and asked about reservations. she told i didn't need them and she would be working that evening and would be sure and take care of us. she did not disappoint, we arrived and she sat us in a secluded, dark corner booth. she even offered to take my sports jacket, something you rarely see, and is a huge traditional courtesy, to me. the ambiance was perfect for a romantic dinner; corner booth, dim lights, candle light, and great music in the background. the experience didn't stop there either. chad, the manager, was our server, and he is service personified. we were out for a great experience and we got it. we never felt rushed, never went without food or drink. his timing, recommendations, and conversations were perfect. the food was phenomenal! i had a filet with a spicy lemon sauce topped with shrimp and capers on a bed of linguine. my wife had the ravioli with a creamy vodka sauce. truly some of the best service by everyone complemented by delicious food!

terrible service. i went totucci'sfor a work lunch. it took so long for the waitress to bring our drinks and food that when the food arrived we asked her to bring us boxes and tickets. we sat at the table at least 10 minutes before she came to get our cards and tickets we immediately had available. after calling our work to tell them we were going to be longer than expected, the waitress brought back our cards and receipts to only to find out she had charged the more expensive meal and drinks on both of our cards. we had wasted so much time waiting for her to even bring the receipts that it wasn't worth waiting for her to correct her mistake and forfeited the money. for only having 6 tables in use, and more than just one waitress, i really figured they would have had a more functional restaurant. i've been in the food service.. 6 tables should not have been that big of an issue. their calzone was great, but like so many other reviews of this restaurant, the service really ruined the dining experience.

went totucci'son a date last night. the service was horrible. we sat at the table at least 10 minutes before anyone checked on us. the staff at the bar was cussing. our server was hit and miss if she was around. the pizza was still great, the garlic cheese bread was just okay(a little burnt), but the service really ruined the meal.

last meal of the year. my boyfriend and i came in on new years eve and were immediately seated. we had stuffed mushooms for a starter (so tasty) he ordered the osso bucco and i had the cappellini di mare.

both dishes were absolutely amazing. i was a little jealous of the osso bucco to be honest. the meat was so tender it fell off the bone. the cappellini was buttery and the shrimp was delicious. aside from the food being amazing our waiter ( i believe his name was chad) was awesome. he was fast and really enjoyable to talk to. he even went behind the bar and made my martini himself, which if i might add was strong and well mixed with a great peach flavor. it was our first time to visittucci'sand the chef (i want to say his name was curt...maybe he was a manager) came and visited the table. everyone was so friendly. the restaurant had a nice feel to it. i can't really describe it in another way but we both left smiling. we will both definitely be spreading good words and will also be coming back. thanks for an awesome last meal of 2011, tucci's. well done.

fun and relaxing!. went totucci's2 weeks ago, the food was good and the service was exceptional. i believe our server's name was jake or jacob. he recommended a perfect wine to pair with my meal. i'm not usually a fan of white wine, but since he recommended a white wine (sorry terrible at remembering wine names) to go with my fish i gave it a try and didn't regret it! plus the lemonatta salad that came with our meal was delicious! overall, a great experience. loved the atmosphere and look forward to returning with such a friendly fun waiter

the real story. as atucci'sregular i can tell you first hand that the food is delicious yet slightly over priced, the reason you pay more is not for the quality of the food, but the ambiance and over all atmosphere of the evening, with the black and white checkered tables, dim red lights, and small booths the restaurant gives you a close interaction with who ever you are sharing your meal. keep in mind it is a small space and they do not take reservations, so dont get upset if you have to wait 15-20 minutes for a table, it is well worth it. the waiters are trained well and as in any fine dining restaurant should, do not pester you and only come when needed. this is not a mcdonalds if you want a quick and easy meal your welcome to go up the street. if there are no tables available i suggest eating at the bar, its just as nice and the bartender is very funny. all of my experiences withtucci'shave been well, i recommend there california pie its my favorite.

and to comment on the fellow bellow who said he use to work there, i heard from a little birdy you yourself werent the best employee yourself maybe you should take a good look in the mirror before pointing the finger

and to finish i would just like to say if you are to fat to sit in a regualr booth and need to take up an entire table, there is a problem. not only are you detrimental to yourself, society, but you are also taking money away from a server that could have 4 customers rather than 1 or 2, and when your making $2.15 and hour thats a big deal

do food is ok, i use to work attucci'sbe careful what you order. the food is not handled with care. i've seen food dropped and then sent to patrents. management there is to intoxicated to make valid decision. to say the least the owner is a out of control business women who runs her store like a garage sale.

good food, pricey wine. we dine here a couple times a year.
it's an established original restaurant with a good track record.
the food is consistently good and the service is attentive.

however, over the years, there are two things that always bothered me about tucci's:
1. the price-per-glass of wine, and;
2. the low, dark lighting.

tucci's rivals the per-glass pricing of restaurants that offer more variety and higher quality selections.
for example, the kim crawford chardonnay we had costs us $7 a glass.
retail, a bottle of kc would be about $17.00, tops.
we had three glasses (total $21.00), which certainly did not drain a full bottle.
come on,tucci's- give us a break.
we know you make a big profit from wine so how about cutting us some slack?
even $6 per glass would help.
of course, the glass of super tuscan at $10 was about par with other restaurants.

as for the dark lighting, it is always difficult to read the menu in such conditions.
perhaps using larger font on the menu or attaching little led book lights to the menu would help.

otherwise, the food is always good.
we had the gorgonzola pizza and eggplant parmigiana - both were fantastic!

in the old days..... 10+ years agotucci'swas great, it had taken over the spot formerly known as the cherry street bakery (sad they closed). being 'new'tucci'shad great meals, great prices, and didn't charge several appendages for wine. i know several former fans who quit going due totucci'sexhorbitant increase in wine and food prices (esp the tiramisu) with a decrease in quality. we all found other places where we could see what we were eating, could buy a bottle of wine fortucci'ssingle glass, and came away with change.....

love it!. my husband and i have been taking our family totucci'sfor lunch and dinner intermittently now for years. the kids love the pizza and lemon caesar salad, and if they are good spumoni. we have 3 children under 10 and love to sit on the patio in the nice weather and people watch. it is a nice date place on the inside, small and cozy. they have great priced daily lunch specials and my favorite for dinner the angels on horseback, a nice tender steak . the staff is great, the bartender always has a new cocktail for me to try, and they hold your to go for you until you go. i recommend the patio dining anytime during the spring and summer!

"chic and sophisticated?" (how about "going downhill"). "chic and sophisticated..." i just read that review. seriously? that reviewer must be swayed by the supposed "hip factor" and not paying close attention to the food. i findtucci'sfood only ordinary and not unique. i've had good service in the 8-10 times i've been, but they are inflexible if you want a table for more than 4. i don't see anything innovative about the menu or sauces...they're good but i don't see anything that would be a knockout nor anything i'd call creative. perhaps we all have different preferences:tucci'sused to be better. it's gone downhill and is now only mediocre. i typically prefer dalesandro's or villa ravenna's food, and usually go to one of those places, or even olive garden for that matter, before i go totucci'sanymore.

lastly, i've heard people say some restaurants are "misunderstood" or that the concept did not catch on. cut the crap. what this boils down to is that the operators of such a place are out of touch with the expectations of the dining public.
