tsujiri

tsujiri one of the staple in japan matcha scene is finally here. i visited s maison during the labor weekend. less traffic and less crowd. i was able to order immediately. i was drooling while browsing their menu it was matcha haven. i setlle for the o-matcha cappuccino to have a taste of the real matcha feel. i observe how they prepare the matcha and how the whisking is done. the result was perfect! i love the rich milkiness of the matcha. it was light and frothy. love the bittersweet flavor of it.

i like their matcha because it isn't sweet, unlike the pre-mixed ones they serve in starbucks or in other coffee shops. prepare to spend a little though, because one small order costs around 190 pesos.

got so stoked when i heard about tsujiri. i am a matcha lover so i couldn't miss the opportunity to try it out! i ordered the tsujiri sundae cuz i found the sakura design cute 🙈 tastes great but wasn't able to finish all. for me it's somehow "nakakaumay". will go back again to try other matcha desserts!

for all the matcha lovers out there, this one is a must try. for me, their matcha is exactly the taste of matcha that i am looking for. not too sweet or too strong for a matcha flavor. it was really good. plus, the place can accomodate customers who wants to seat amd enjoy their cup of matcha desserts.

didn't meet my expectations. not coming back.
i was curious what the hype was all about so i decided to drop by tsujiri earlier. being a fan of matcha, i expected something special to its taste since it's more expensive compared to blk 513. i ordered one matcha milk float and seriously, it tasted like an ordinary matcha. second, the crew forgot about my order! i was waiting for about 10 to 15 minutes and i thought they were just preparing my matcha float, but i started to ask when i saw customers who just got in line received their orders. i called the attention of the crew and showed my receipt and tada! they forgot that i ordered and haven't made any matcha float yet. i waited for quite some time before they gave me my order. they were nice but didn't apologize for the mistake. probably they should be more organized so they won't forget the orders made.

ahhh, this store deserves all the hype and praises! i went here before its grand opening. there were quite a lot of people already. the place was a bit small, so you have to immediately munch your matcha to give others a chance to sit. the staff was really really nice and friendly. i ordered their small tsujiri float matcha for p190. it was really good! authentic matcha, especially their ice cream. but i think tsujiri milk matcha, which my friend had, was better. because the milk blends well with the matcha. my other friend tried their houjicha matcha. it tasted like red bean so we didn't like it. it was just after we consumed it that we learned houjicha is like a roasted matcha. that's why it tasted like roasted coffee red bean lol. i'm 100% sure i'll come back here! i can't wait to try their matcha lava cake ;)

their sundaes caught my eye but were too expensive, so i opted for their soft serve matcha cone. tsujiri lives up to it's name as the world's oldest matcha brand - the matcha flavour is pure and unmatched!

matcha heaven for matcha lovers! 😍
if i could try everything on their menu at once i would, but since i can't, that would be enough reason to go back to this place. they have hot matcha, iced, sundae, shaved ice (the one i've tried). it's really matcha. what do i expect?! silly me. have to go back, really!

this is the second matcha ice cream i have tried and i think if you are into matcha this is the perfect place. i like their matcha sponge cake. however, i think it's too pricey and overrated. still worth visiting though.

calling all matcha lovers! you guys should taste their tsujiri milk! it brought me to matcha heaven! it has the right amount of bitterness and sweetness. definitely a must try!

i've been a matcha lover ever since 😍 i tried a tsujuri milk iced blended on their soft opening, a nice place cafe for people who love matcha/green tea. i wish magkaroon sila around qc area😍 next visit i will try your sundae 😍 keep it up! recommended 👌🏼👅

now on soft opening, tsujiri in s maison is a matcha lovers dream! they have a small space with ample seating. they have varied choices from drinks, hot and cold and other sweet treats (watch out for their pastries coming this may 2017). i ordered the houjicha matcha float. the houjicha is a departure from more traditionally steamed green tea. it is roasted giving it its distinct flavor. topped with matcha, the soft somewhat gritty swirl is as i have expected. natural sweetness! it mixed well together. michelle the front staff is such a sweetheart, she was very patient in explaining and cordial to all customers curious to try their varied menu. there was no line today but there is a steady stream of people. i am looking forward to my next visit. recommended.
