not so good. ok, let's admit it, the place has a nice, warm & welcoming atmosphere. they did an excellent job on the buildout, however their food is not up to par. we've eaten here several times, and each time we were not happy with the food. so go if you are looking for a nice atmosphere. but don't go if you are expecting great tastingitalianfood.

bad fakeitalianfood. only if you grew up in a jerkwater town and had no idea of realitalianfood would you like this place. i've had better frozen pizzas. it was like a upscale shoney's with sinatra photos on the wall.

very busy place with high energy. perfect for before or after theater with a wide selection of reasonably priceditalianclassics. seating staff is a bit ditzy and confused (too many of them) but wait and bus staff attentive and professional. call ahead for seating.

best overall restaurant in leesburg va! great place to get a nice romantic dinner or a chill lunch. the chicken parm is amazing best ever the homemade tomato sauce is very good and the free bread with olives puts all restaurants to shame! for desert u can't go wrong with the 3 layeritaliancreme cake or the creme brûlée

60 minute wait... a bit much to sit. first time at traviniaitaliankitchen on a saturday night at about 6:50 p.m. with party of five. the place was packed, and rightfully so as the dinner menu items raised my anticipation - and my hunger too.
unfortunately assurances from the hostess were not fullfilled and after 60 minutes we opted to try traviniaitaliankitchen again some other day.

martinis were perfect, family friendly, get the bread, it has an amazing topping if olive oil, rosemary, and maybe garlic? i tried the caesar salad, nothing spectacular, it could use more lemon. the tuscan risotto withitaliansausage is the perfect size. i also had a dirty martini, which comes with bleu cheese stuffed olives. i can never go back! watching the kitchen through the glass is fun. but: dont bill your place as a wine bar when you offer one machine with 6 wines buried in the "waiting area".
