travinia italian kitchen & wine bar

this place is absolutely amazing. the service and the food will never leave you disappointed! we drive 40 minutes from lexington just to eat at this specific travinia. not sure how this place isn't 5 stars!! the kitchen is so clean you can watch them cook the food because they have windows where you can see them prepare it! great place!!!!

buyer beware- my wife and i went to this location and had a birthday dinner that was very good. when leaving, we presented a travinia gift card that someone had given to my wife with a $50 value. apparently this location has separated from the chain, but still carries the name and logo. they would not honor the gift card, likely purchased in lexington. it would have to be purchased from this store, which means purchasing one from this location can't be used at other travinia locations. my overall expierence took a huge noise dive and we are extremely p!ssed about the situation. had we been a young person without the means to pay in full, how would they have handled it? i want be back (to this location....have been a loyal customer for the 11 years i have lived in the area.

came in very hungover looking for some comfort food. bartender offered me a ginger ale with bitters to soothe my stomach. didn't charge me for it so it was very kind. the meatballs were huge and delicious, but a bit pricey. the chicken parmesan came next and i honestly enjoyed the spaghetti more than the chicken. i just have had better chicken parm, but it wasn't the worst. overall a good experience.

amazing place!! from dining in to full offsite catering!!. this is just an amazing restaurant with amazing employee's! it doesn't matter if your going on a date night or having an event catered right in your own kitchen!! call them and they will make it happen!!

we couldn't get into solstice one night and landed here. great atmosphere, good food, great margarita! will definitely go back.

we went for lunch to try this place out. i had the chicken parmesan as it's a fav dish of mine. the worst i've had anywhere; ultra thin, dry and tasteless. it had the quality of a bad leftover, quickly reheated yesterday's meal. it came with bog standard pasta and no veg at all. waiter was the only good point besides getting out of there. avoid.

not so good. ok, let's admit it, the place has a nice, warm & welcoming atmosphere. they did an excellent job on the buildout, however their food is not up to par. we've eaten here several times, and each time we were not happy with the food. so go if you are looking for a nice atmosphere. but don't go if you are expecting great tasting italian food.

bad fake italian food. only if you grew up in a jerkwater town and had no idea of real italian food would you like this place. i've had better frozen pizzas. it was like a upscale shoney's with sinatra photos on the wall.

we recently ate at travinias on a very busy friday evening. the restaurant was crowded and our party was seated in the bar area which was fine. our waitress was very nice and attentive. the food was absolutely incredible. so why never again? after we had finished our dinner, we were waiting for our dessert to be served when a party of 12 came into the restaurant. they squeezed the party into a few tables at the bar area next to our table and then proceeded to ask us to move to another table to make room for the larger party. we were still waiting on our dessert! i believe a restaurant depends on repeat customers, no matter how large the party, to be a successful restaurant. it was obvious that their priority was the larger group. really, how bad would it have been for the party to wait the additional 10 minutes for us to finish our meal? never again! i'll take my business and my cash elsewhere!

very busy place with high energy. perfect for before or after theater with a wide selection of reasonably priced italian classics. seating staff is a bit ditzy and confused (too many of them) but wait and bus staff attentive and professional. call ahead for seating.

desperately in need of competent management. i ate there this afternoon after a very long week. we just wanted a decent meal at a convenient restaurant with good service. so, unfortunately, we tried this place. we sat at the table for almost 15 minutes before a waiter came to the table. (the restaurant was less than half full, so it's not like they were swamped.) the drinks took a long time to arrive. we had to go find our own silverware after someone who wasn't our waiter dropped off the appetizers. we were surrounded by dirty tables and dirty floors. the wait staff acted like they'd rather be anywhere but there. the restrooms had no paper towels and barely any soap. the food was ok at best. the lasagna was decent. the rigatoni with braised short rib marina sauce had almost no meat and even less flavor; the "sauce" was mostly grease and i left most of the dish on the table. the waiter perked up when i handed him my black american express card to pay the bill, but it was too late to score any service points that late in the game.

best overall restaurant in leesburg va! great place to get a nice romantic dinner or a chill lunch. the chicken parm is amazing best ever the homemade tomato sauce is very good and the free bread with olives puts all restaurants to shame! for desert u can't go wrong with the 3 layer italian creme cake or the creme brûlée

delicious!. my father and i came here for dinner on a weekday, so there was no wait. the setting is beautiful. our waitress was very knowledgeble and friendly. i got the chicken piccata (which is one of my favorites). it did not dissapoint. it was the best chicken piccata i've ever had. i highly reccomend it. i'd have liked a little more pasta, but that's just be being picky. there were four big chicken breasts that came with it, and a good amount of sauce. the chicken was lightly breaded, and the whole dish just felt light and fresh. i could tell it was fresh. their bread is amazing. my dad got the chicken cannelloni and it was also very good. it was slow, and it kinda weirded me out a little because two of the wait staff kept circling around the restaurant and passing our table. we actually counted at least 5 times for one of them. it was kinda funny. not complaining, at least they were trying to look busy and professional. this restaurant gets 5 stars from me! also, it's located in a new up-and-coming shopping center, that looks like it'll be fab once it's finished!
