perfect for the occasion. my wife chose tournedos recently for her birthday dinner. our daughter and her husband joined us. with their valet parking, it is very easy getting in and out of tournedos with your car. the valets are friendly and very efficient. a pre-dinner cocktail at the bar/lounge was a very nice prologue to our dinner. it is agreatplace to stop for cocktails that are always professionally prepared and served by bar staff invariably welcoming and attentive.
we had a terrific booth, in a dining room that is perfect for comfort and quiet conversation. our servers tookgreatcare of us. appropriately attentive to our wishes. three of us ordered steaks, and the two vegetables, including potatoes, were just the right size for the four of us. the two salads were very nicely divided so that the twosomes could share. a classy touch! the steaks were cooked to perfection, and were very flavorful. i did not feel that my pork chops were up to the standard i expected, but they were tasty.
i was impressed by the wine-by-the-glass choices. my wife and i have difference preferences on the red-white scale, and each of us were very pleased with our choices for this evening.
beautifully presented desserts topped of a very enjoyable evening. the tab was pretty much as we would expect of a top level restaurant in rochester.
