italian food for people who don't likeitalianfood. i took my elderly father there for dinner. he had lasagna, and i ordered the stuffed shells. i have never had more flavorlessitalianfood in my life. they must use the least expensive cheese available (if it is actually cheese). both the shells and the lasagna had virtually no flavor whatsoever.
just a note, they had a dish on the menu called shrimp di cosenza. my father is from cosenza, and, since it's several hours inland, shrimp would never be a signature dish. i asked whether any of the owners were from there, and the waiter told me that no one there is italian. that explained a lot.
