top 5 restaurant

this location right across jimi mall in al ain and is on the first floor.

its a south indian restaurant and does have a huest party hall and big space for dine in.

the done is is split between family and others.

thefoodis spread across a large variety of malabar cousine.

biryani is looks to be the hot favorite, which i didn't order so cannot tell, but sure did see it on litriallt every other table being served.

i had ordered for fish which i feel was stale and the mutton graver was good.

the quantity is large so one portion is good for 2.

would try the biryani the next time.

indianfoodis what i look wherever i visit. so looking forfoodled me here. and i can not express my integrity for thefoodi felt.it was so yummy!. it felt like i was eating in my country. i just loved it.

food is no doubt delicious but the customer service especially the one manning the call for delivery sucks and disgusting. he has no temper when you order in bulk and at the same time impolite when you order less. he will cut the call midair of the conversation before you even make more purchase or explain something. guessed he don't understand english, keeps on saying "huh huh". and when thefoodarrives, it's either came late or too early than the said delivery time- missed calls.

this restaurant is one of the best places to go if you want to go enjoy some authentic indianfoodwithout breaking the bank and tbh, its better than half the indian restaurants i have been to. the butter chicken is so good and the biryani is alright, but the chicken lollipop is to die for!

my two problems with the restaurant is the language barrier and the cleanliness of their cups (but that could be fixed by asking for a new cup).

a much worth restaurant in al-ain, near to al jimi mall.
rated them 4 as found them really good.
went there with friends and at night like 11pm. thefoodcame very fast, the presentation was not expected as they gave 👌. the prices and quantity of thefoodis more then expected on top with a very decent service.

i only ordered from this restaurant as a delivery in it was great. the estimated delivery time is really quick & thefoodis fresh & warm. the flavours are tremendous for such a humble place with affordable prices. it is specialised in indian cuisine mainly & asian cuisine as well. personally, i recommend the chicken biryani, the butter chicken, the freshly baked nan bread & the dal.

hi friends. to review this restaurant i would give 4 out of 5 stars as its one of my favorite choices while dining out. they have competitive prices andfoodis splendid. you must try them if your residing in al ain. thanks

although low profile, this restaurant serves one of the the best gourmetfoodin the uae. thefoodis flavorful, presentation exquisite and served with a smile. the environment is comfortable and cosy. i would rate it higher than many 5 star restaurants in dubai.  

very worst delivery service. orderedfoodfor delivery within 2 kms . they delivered somewhere else. came to know abt that after 3 hrs of waiting. even the hotel management doesn't know where the food's present location is. whether its delivered or not. worst ever experience. don't advertise delivery if its not possible.

pathetic service. they take ages to home-deliverfoodeven 5 kms from them. hopeless and very unprofessional. place orders only if you if you want to stay hungry and disappoint your guest.

entrance is horrible, and i’m not surprised if you feel like turning around and walking straight out! but once upstairs and inside, thefoodis good and cheap. i go for thali at lunchtime, and for several years already. it’s southern style kerala thali, and always delicious. and if you have a visitor that you want to scare, take him through that entrance lol

i orderedfoodfor home delivery. the delivery man does not deliver at door. i had to go to his vehicle to take the food.

in the restaurant, i went there couple of times, all the staff have attitude issues. there are not many restaurants around. they think that people are depending on them for food. all the staff stand around the counter always chit chatting.

top 5 but not that top in taste!

happened to visit this place today for a family dine out! there are only few places in al ain if you are craving for indian (esp malabari) cuisine.
so top 5 is one among those very few restaurants.
don't know whether it's coz i am from dubai and there we have plenty of options when it comes to malabari food.. which are excellent in taste and service , top 5 was a disappointment when compared to those in dubai and sharjah!

we ordered hot and sour chicken soup, fish chutty curry and fish shapp curry (again in chatty) and seafoodroast with poratta and chappathi.
"seafoodroast" was a variety experience, it's a chilly roast of shrimps, crabs, squid and small fish fry all together roasted and served in one plate! never seen a dish like this ever before , it tasted ok as well though the items served were "frozen" not "fresh".

ambience and interiors( came to know they recently renovated )gets 3, quantity of dishes gets 3.5,
taste :3, cleanliness gets 3.5
value for money:3
all scores are out of 5!


verdict: it's an ok kind of place to visit
my pick : hot and sour soup and seafoodroast (only because i am sure you might have never tried before)

visited the restaurant a few weeks back on a busy thursday night. although we reached the restaurant at 2330 hrs, we were given a warm welcome by the manager. generally before closing time the majority of the restaurants avoid customers and turn them away. but here we were ushered in and seated promptly and served immediately.

the manager himself took our order and suggested dragon chicken for starter and kunji kozhi and parottas for the mains. our bevvies arrived first and then the starter in a reasonable time. then arrived kunji kozhi, a delicacy that the manager suggested and we were simply floored. would definitely recommend. a little spicy, masala coated, roasted chicken prep.

even though it was past 12 and they had started their closing procedures, they suggested and gladly took our dessert order for a fruit salad and a scoop of ice cream.

loved thefoodand the experience. would definitely come back again.
