went there with mom, gen, and pierre.foodwasn't bad. service a little slow even though not too many customers there at that time. nice decor and was quiet.

thisfoodis literally the worst. today, i went to tony capone's to try some authentic italian cuisine, what i walked away with is possibly the worst italianfoodknown to man. it tasted like the restaurant had a freezer full of italian to go meals that they warmed up and served. utter garbage!

the restaurant itself is very outdated, old carpets, dark, and i even spotted cobwebs on the light fixture. thefoodis nothing special either- large bowls of pasta that you could ultimately make better in your own home. the scallops in my dish were overdone with no flavour, upsetting as i was looking forward to them. the drinks were fine, service mediocre. overall i would give this place a 4/10 and suggest they reduce the selection on the menu and offer fewer dishes that they could master in order to actually impress the crowd.

doing the right thing. today i went to tony capone's for my birthday dinner with my wife, two daughters and my dad. thefoodwas plentiful and excellent! the servers paid special attention to my girls. the owner himself went above and beyond to ensure that i had great birthday experience.

thank you - you're the best. on dec 18th we celibrated my grandson's baptism.
50 close friends and family members joined my daughter and her husband at capones.
thefoodand service was second to no-one in ottawa. everything that was served was of the highest quality, fresh and absolutely delicous.
a special thanks to brenda, amber and chef phil, as well as vinny and the rest of the staff.
thanks again tony, for your understanding of the importance of the day and making it that much more enjoyable. it will be something we'll remember for a long time.

delicious and nice atmosphere. fiance and i went to capone's for my birthday tonight. i had the manicotti, and he had the seafood linguine. both were absolutely delicious. we enjoyed that the restaurant was dimly lit and simply decorated. the tables were set far enough apart that, despite it being busy, we could enjoy a quiet meal. it was on the pricey side, at $75 for two, however we both ordered appetizers, main course and an alcoholic drink each. cosmo was great, and quite strong. waitress was great. the table next to us had numerousfoodallergies and they worked with her to make sure that she was taken care of. we'll be back.

best pasta in town. at capone italian restaurant, thefoodis amazing the pasta and veal is the best the way it should be, the service is great, this restaurant been around for so long because of the greatfoodand tony you can,t get any more italian then him one of the best.

great home style food. this is a great restaurant for a family get together or friends catching up. thefoodis good and very comforting. i especially like their tortellini, and they truly have the best meat balls (with the exception of homemade) that i have ever had! tony, the owner is friendly, and cares that you enjoy your dining experience. this may not be high end gourmet, but it's really good for what it is...a great place for a quick healthy bite!

i wouldn't recommend tony capone's for anyone that appreciates good italian. i've read other customer reviews of this place and i scratch my head. being part italian, i can't figure out how people can classify this place'sfoodas "great italian"foodand they attest that they keep going back for more. i almost feel bad for them.
