tom's pancake house

awful! i went here once and had the worst, most undercooked, runny eggs ive ever had! one of the worst breakfast places i've been to.

save your money and time. if you want high prices, small amounts of food all with a god in your face then you've got the right place... service was not the best. pancakes were not worth the money. we've eaten there 2x, just to give the place a fair chance - there will not be a 3rd.

meh...not so much. my 83 year old dad would love this greasy spoon. large menu to choose from. service was ok. food is bland, greasy, portions size was enough for us. my husband had the bacon waffle and a sausage patty was about the size of a burger patty. i had french toast, crust was hard and dry.

very good food, attentive service, and a classic “clean and well lighted place.” i want to make this a regular place to go, now. was here before during sunday breakfast and the place was packed. that tells me a lot.

my santa fe omelette was absolutely delicious. it was filled chicken, peppers, jack cheese and a tasty sauce! it was one of the best omelettes i have eaten! in lieu of hash browns i got pancakes. they were delicious too. our server kept our coffee cups filled and was very efficient in delivering the food. the restaurant was packed, but an opening at the counter came up, so we only waited about 15 minutes.

everyone at our table loved their breakfast. wholesome, hearty, well prepared comfort food. even though the place was packed we got a table in far less time than i would have expected. i assume that is due to the very attentive waitstaff who were certainly on point.

best diner breakfast in beaverton. the service is great, and they move quickly through the wait on busy saturday or sunday's. a wide variety of choices for breakfast, lunch or dinner. i highly recommend the marionberry crepes.

poor service. cold, soggy food. rude waitress.. my wife and i made the mistake of going to tom's for a late saturday breakfast. it took 20 minutes to place our order, and 30 minutes more to be served. our omelettes were cold and soggy when we got them. when i complained to the waitress, she offered me a quick trip to the microwave. the restaurant manager graciously declined to charge us for the food we didn't eat. he even offered a gift certificate, but i didn't see the point in taking it.

their food was very good expecialy their bacon. they had great customer service and they fresh and locally grown fruit from the farmers market. i liked this place very much.

very good. is it as good as the famous place over on 99w? no. but then toms is cheaper, shorter wait, and they take credit cards... toms is generally always good. their regular pancakes are sourdough (which i love) but if you want buttermilk get the "sweet milk" pancakes. i like the buckwheat pancakes too. they use real butter and real maple syrup. the bacon is thick and well cooked and the cheese is good tasty medium or sharp cheddar. they offer good seasonal fresh fruit. the service is usually good. prices are fair. the iced tea glasses are too small. despite the complaints here (what place doesn't get complaints?) i would say go ahead and give tom's a try.

mothra says....hotcakes and crepes. we don't go out for breakfast often but a couple of saturdays back, k & i drove down to tom's while in beaverton for an egg or an omelet or something with coffee. we were seated promptly shortly before 8am in a restaurant with a full up parking lot just off of the 8. janette greeted us and took our coffee order. shortly thereafter our server arrived and took our breakfast order. honestly, that was the last time we saw unknown server name.
after about 10 minutes, k's ham scramble and my soft scramble both with sourdough toast arrived and janette was there to top off our coffees. breakfast was just fine. nothing outstanding though. the pictures in the menu looked better than the actual entrees. the eggs were hot, the toast was average, and the coffee was weak. janette offered terrific customer service but the breakfast was just ok. crepes and hotcakes in a glossy menu 2 x 3 photo. mothra says.... an average breakfast. 3.0 of 5.0

50/50 its a hit or miss. sometimes its good sometimes its not and there's a blonde waitress there who is always rude don't ever have her as a server...have someone else.

retired. i have never once been disappointed at tom's in about 30 years of stopping there,when i read the complaints about tom's,it reminds me once again;you can't please every one.thx,bud
