everytime i visit ahmedabad, this is a must visit place. love everything here.

best thing about this place :

free popcorn !!! seriously, they give you the most awesome popcorns that you have ate probably and that too for free. as soon as you enter and find a place for yourself, you get a full basket of popcorn on your table, so that you don't stop munching from the time you order your food, till the time it arrives. great thinking !!!

food :

yummy is the word when you eat at tomato's. it serves italian and mexican the best, but they also have north indian food and it is equally good. my personal favourite is the mexican hotpot. the rice and fries everything is perfect. the moment you eat your first spoon, it is a burst of flavours.

death by chocolate is my personal favorite from their beverages. must give a try. you can also go for their non-alcoholic beer.

service :

well theserviceis a bit slow i must say, but still it's not that bad.
the one thing i don't love about the place is the staff. like the restaurant has such a cool and happy vibe and the staff here always seems to be in some tension and i actually feel like if i don't decide what to order and order fast, he will kill me. please wear a smile, staff !!

ambience :

it has an ambience full of this old american celebrities pictures and some really funny quotes. for e.g. a quote at their bathroom door says : "you only understand how long a minute is, when you are in front of this bathroom door". you can spend a whole day reading all those quotes.

overall :

a very good place to be when in ahmedabad. so yes 4/5 stars :)

best place for veg and specially nonveg ...great menu and cook . good ambience andservice. been a fan and regular since first visit highly recommend for a rajkot foodie , who want authentic taste from around the world .. just a lil expensive but worth it .

very good place. the interiors are retro and so damn beautiful. we had ordered fish and chips, hara bhara kebabs, chicken manchow soup, house tangy special sour and pepper soup and mexican hotpot. the fish was so well cooked. the hotpot was delicious and too good in quantity. lastly, theservicewas a cherry on the top!

i have grown up with this place, i would make it very short and sweet. the food like always upto the mark.

the only thing that has degraded or changed is the staffserviceand air-conditioning fixtures. this needs a serious intervention or else the place might soon ruin its name.

quality of food was below average ( in fact street food in ahmedabad has evolved now a days to make you feel delighted and worth it ). waiter are so absent minded or least concerned about guests and their order and does not serve you with what you ordered. please avoid if you want to have a special time or relish the food. welcome are those who eat outside every alternate day and are not concerned aboutserviceas such.

we have heard alot about this restaurant but it was not at all worthservicewas pathetic and cold food was served

@tomatosrestaurant is really good with rustic feel to it. interior and ambiance at tomato's draws inspiration from the america of the 50s and 60s. there retro style ambiance with vintage graffiti and stras posters are eye catching. the menu has a blend of mexican, italian, asian and indian cooking. they offer veg as well as non veg. they serves popcorn as you wait for the first course to come. the taste, quality,serviceand staff behavior was up to the mark. you fell like you came at vintage american restaurant. one should definitely visit this place atleast one time for sure.

this place has been our favourite since many years- “tomato’s” as a brand is most loved in our city and we love how consistent they are with their taste and quality. on our recent visit, we tried hot and sour soup, manchow soup amd khousuey soup. soups were great in terms of thickness, taste and quality. we had kebabs and cheese garlic bread as well. mexican hot pot is a must to order here and our recent favourite is lasagna which we really like!! overall the food tasted great-serviceis always really quick over here and hospitality of staff is commendable!! a must visit restaurant in ahmedabad!!

absolutely loved the ambience. gives you the classic american diner vibe. free popcorns were a delight. the garlic bread and the lasagna were cooked to perfection.servicewas great but still there is room for improvement.

it was amazing friends group of 12 members gathering here. staffserviceis most impressive experience had. ambience is excellent love it

expensive compared to food taste satisfaction

great collection of cuisines, nice ambience with awesomeservicewith great & tasty food... tomatos is all time favourite restaurant... must visit restaurant in the area...

tomato’s, especially this branch is an easy to go place. the place, it’s food &servicehas always been cherished & enjoyed.

on the most recent visit, ordered:
1. murgh makhani
2. mexican hot pot
3. butter roti

complete satisfaction in terms of food & service.

had heard much about tomato’s and decided to give it a try. ordered chilly con queso which was disappointing, did not expect 4 nachos, 4 cucumber slices, 4 carrots two slices of non toasted bread with a runny fondue and sweet salsa for starters. had khao suey for mains which was even more saddening with sweet bland curry sticky rice nothing of the sorts khao suey is supposed to be. for the price they charge people expect quality and quantity; however theservicewas prompt hence two stars instead of one!

i think i found a place which doesn't need review finally.... tomato's serves excellent food andserviceto their customers and take care of them properly.. trained staff was their .... talking about food they serve finger licking food..now coming upto ambience...okay!!!!! no word for ambience just lit.....i have never seen this type of ambience before it so unique and pleasant u feel like u had dinner in nyc 😂

well, i am a regular at tomato's in ahmedabad. this time when we visited rajkot, we thought of visiting tomato's since they also serve non-vegetarian food there. we ordered the following:
butter chicken: 5/10
chicken biryani: 6/10
mexican hotpot: 8/10
baked lasagna: 7/10
masala papad
soft drinks

to be honest, as much as i love tomato's i felt the taste was sweeter even in chicken biryani. i'd say theserviceis definitely prompt, but i wish the food can be improved.
