i've been here a couple of times, good quality glassware - yes i'm one of the people who believe whisky and wine taste the best when served in excellent glassware :) love this spot for pre-dinner drinks or a night cap. nice chilled new york apartment vibe

i don't really understand the hype about this being one of the 'best' bars. the cocktails are decent, the music below par, the stools uncomfortable. in my opinion it was an ok bar. the crowd was pretty thin when i went on a thursday but perhaps we can chalk that down to it being winter period.

amazing vibe! i've always had tons of fun there, it does not matter who you go with. i have hosted many of my events there and all my guests loved it. the music is very good, sometimes you can even dance too towards the end of the night. the cocktails are really good. in summer it's really cool to be on the rooftop, half of which is in the open air - magical! i've also been there in winter and the wooden roof & leather chairs makes it cosy and charming. i love that it's not a massively huge bar. it's also rated as one of the top 10 bars in the world so do visit.

very cosy / small .. nice vibe ..

the rooftop is partly covered and the open part on the rooftop is actually small. make sure you don't sit next to a speaker ... will blast your ears away ..

the food is finger food / pub snacks ..

love the vibe in this place! but that is only one area of the review and as this is a food review we need to focus a little on the food in isolation.you get many bars that try and do food and fail, tjingtjing is absolutly not one of these! the food here is brilliant, just brilliant! try the pork belly, i promise you that you will order it again!the drinks range is great and the cocktails are stylish and well made.all up you should not be disappointed with this place!

quite an urban jungle vibe, the place is smaller than it is advertised on the website, but it is a good use of space. definitely a nice place for an after work hang out. food is pub snacks food with an asian twist, i would recommend everything on their small but creative menu.

i went to tjing tjing for drinks with friends on a hot december summer day. it was a great option as they have misty sprinklers which cools you down while you enjoy a mojito and catch up with friends.

the bar was just hard to find if you don't know where to look. but once you find it you will never forget!

for romantic drinks and snacks in cape town, go here. the decor is perfect and fresh. the design and architecture is intriguing and inspiring and the lighting the best in cape town. bathrooms were spotless and clean and rooftop reminiscing of seville in spain with a touch of minimalism. definitely worth every cent. the only negative is the somewhat slow and somewhat uninspiring music and looped images shown on a tv screen. i would simply switch off that tv screen and let the perfect setting sooth you into your week - end. perfection...almost...

what a wonderful night out. the best bar, on this girl’s night out, was tjing tjing. if only the stars were out, but you guys can’t help that.

the vibe was great, busy and laughter all around - from those delicious cocktails of course!
i tried the cotton candy, jelly baby and cherry blossom. bar far the winner has to be…

cotton candy, it is just amazing.

will defiantly go back with my girls

delightful, funky, very vibey bar. their rooftop deck is a hit on summer nights especially with one of their signature cocktails in hand. my favourite is the cotton candy cocktail. their tapas are also delish.
