i've never not had a fun time at this unsuspecting bad. when my mates told me we were having drinks at tjing tjing, i thought, "i can't imagine getting sufficiently rowdy in a chinese restaurant." but when we ascended the illusively dimly lit stairs and emerged into a spacious and sophisticated loft-type rooftop bar i was blown away!
the view of the cape town city skyline will take your breath away.
we were there to enjoy their cocktails and enjoy them we did. i managed to drain my old fashioned, asian persuasion, cucumber cooler, cosmopolitan and classic martini and still have room for more! their mixologists are just thatgoodat what they do.
