2nd time at tittos.
their food is all right. got the sisig tacos, salted egg shrimp tacos, and elote.

it's not very authentic latin food.
the tacos were pretty disappointing. first of all, they used to be 2 small round tortillas and now it's on one big tortilla cut in half, which makes it more difficult to eat and not to mention - that's just not how you serve tacos. the tortilla was awful. before, it wasn't good but it wasn't bad. now it's just bad. it was a very stiff, dry, cheap kind of flour tortilla. tacos are usually made with corn tortillas, and don't crack when you fold it up (like tittos' did). the sisig taco was too runny and wet. salted egg was ok but it's really the tortilla that threw everything off. definitely didn't satisfy my taco craving.

the elote was really good. it's the only thing that didn't make my meal a bad experience. i like how they gave us the option to have it sliced so it's easier to eat. the seasoning and toppings were great. not too overwhelming.

ambience is great. service is acceptable.

food: ++++
their beef salpicao was superb! the meat was really tender and cooked well. it goes well with the button mushroom and salty broth. their pork chuletta was a bit tough and a little too "spiced" to my liking. i loved their truffle mash potato though which was sprinkled with, i'm guessing, parmesan cheese. 🧀

service: ++
i'm not quite sure if it was because due to it being a holiday that their service was waaaaay too slow! we had to keep on calling the attention of the servers - from ordering, refilling of water, additional order, billing out and up to getting our change! there is so much room for improvement needed in here.

atmosphere: +++
coming in, the place was bright and cheerful looking. conversations were also lively. as time went by and customers were done, tables were left uncleared! the remainder of our dinner was beside a long table with plates, mason jars and leftovers. 🙁

price: +++
reasonable enough for their delish food.

tittos latin bbq & brew is a new mexican/latin inspired restaurant located in the heart of kapitolyo, pasig and probably the only one that offers complimentary valet service.

they owners know they're doing something right--this place has been consistently packed since it opened. the menu has an interesting combination of familiar and contemporary latin american dishes. you'll find mains such as the pork chuletas, lomo saltado, and serena de pescado, and small plates such as tacos, elotes, burritos, and quesadillas.

🐽 food: i wasn't able to eat but i heard the steak is not too bad.

🍹 drinks: aside from local beers, we ordered a margarita which was too sweet.

🍴ambiance: the place is very artsy and vibrant! cute interiors. it's kinda noisy though like the sound coming from people's voices are bouncing off each other.

👫 service: there was once when the server didn't punch the beer so it never came. we also had to wait for the bill for quite some time.

💸 price: price is reasonable. i want to go back to try their meals.

bad service. you order something and they tell you it's not available after a few minutes. their chicken wings were served raw. the kitchen forgot our two orders, we were almost finished when we they realized it.

we like trying out new places weekly and a colleague recommended this place which isn't too far from our office and so we went.
the night didn't start too well as we called in prior for reservation but nobody seemed to know about it when we arrived. it took time before we got seated despite the reservation and the fact that the place wasn't even full. it was also a turn off that they seated us behind this group in a very long table so we had to go around everybody to get to our table. going to the restroom is not a good idea.
we ordered nachos, salpicao and paella. the taste was okay but the paella and salpicao were tooooo greasy nobody wanted to take the left over. tilt the serving plate on one side and you'll see the oil flow collect on the lower edge. okay maybe salpicaos can be oily but paella definitely doesn't have to swim in oil. attendants were polite but didn't know what to suggest to first timers.
it's still worth trying out but maybe steer clear of the paella or make a special request to use as little oil on it as possible when you order.

i really wanted to like this place. so many mexican cuisine places fall short in manila even the hyped ones with good reviews. while the actual restaurant is really nice and the added bonus of free valet service is great, the food that we tried needs much improvement.

we ordered the carne asada frittas which were ok except they were seriously lacking cheese and the fries were served warm not hot, dry and most of them were super hard. too hard and too dry to eat. the salted egg shrimp tacos and baja fish tacos weren't bad but not good enough to go back for. the steak burrito was very disappointing. it seemed like 95% rice. the beans inside were so hard and dry i had to spit them out. either they weren't cooked properly or just a bad idea. the steak lacked taste, had hard fatty pieces and there wasn't much of it. i asked for additional cheese inside but didn't notice it. the horchata is not horchata. it's rice milk with almond and cinnamon syrup. lazy. real horchata is just rice milk, cinnamon, vanilla and sugar.

the only good thing we tried was the kare kare burrito. it had enough meat in it and was quite tasty. if the other menu items were as good as this and they made real horchata then i might go back. actually i'd just be happy with a good steak burrito and horchata. we need a good mexican spot in metro manila.

tittos latin bbq & brew is a new mexican/latin inspired restaurant located in the heart of kapitolyo and probably the only one that offers complimentary valet service.

they owners know they're doing something right - this place has been consistently packed since it opened. the menu has an interesting combination of familiar and contemporary latin american dishes. you'll find mains such as the pork chuletas, lomo saltado, serena de pescado, and small plates such as tacos, elotes, burritos, and quesadillas.

you can't go wrong with any of the 'street tacos', but you will go wrong if you don't get the beef barbacoa. the beef was juicy, perfectly marinated, and the most flavorful of all the fillings. now i know there are a million different variations of this well-loved mexican street snack but trust me when i say that titto's elote is one you shouldn't miss. they put their own spin on the traditional elote recipe and their version will truly change the way you look at corn on the cob.

also, two words: papas bravas! forget everything you think you know about patatas bravas, titto's took the humble potato to a whole new level of yum! my first bite was heavenly as was each bite after. probably could have eaten a dozen more because of how delicious it was. seriously, a must-try!

for our entrees, we had the 18-hour gaucho steak, pollo asado, and a hefty serving of paella de carne. out of the three, we greatly enjoyed the pollo asado more! personally, i appreciated that they use simple ingredients and let the flavour of the chicken shine through. the result was a beautifully roasted chicken with flavorful, succulent meat.

lastly, we had their very own ube churros and frozen brazo de mercedes. both desserts were the perfect ending to a delicious meal but we're partial to the latter.

the atmosphere of the restaurant is warm, cozy, and fun. there are brightly themed wall graffiti and colorful, festive streamers that reminded me of the famous olvera street in downtown, la.

this is one of the few places where the hype is totally justified. next time you need a spot to chill that serves good, latin american dishes, tittos latin bbq & brew is the place to impress your friends without putting a hole in your pocket. just don't blame yourself if you end up becoming a regular here. ;)

yes i gave tittos a 5. 😊 clueless of what to expect i decided to order what the server recommended (baby back ribs). i could give it two thumbs up. my friend order a calamari in squid ink (very unique) and wow it's really good. my other friend ordered beef salpicao. when it was served i thought that it doesn't look like beef salpicao. we first tasted the crispy onions on top of it and hmm it taste sooo good... the beef is so tender and tasty. the price is a bit high though, but with the taste and serving size i believe it's good enough. i could eat here every day. 🍴

first time to try tittos yesterday! place was really colorful and bright. our group ordered the calamares, ribs and their salpicao. the calamares was quite unique, the breading i think is made with a mixture of squid ink thus making it black and giving it a different take on your usual brown fried calamares. the salpicao was topped generously with fried onion strings and the beef was just right! lastly, the ribs was very tasty! great place to have a meal! you can also hangout at their speakeasy bar after your meal.

first time i tried tittos was october 22 lunch time. me and my friend ordered 3 kinds of tacos: beef barbacoa, baja fish, and salted egg shrimps. the beef was my favorite, given that i love beef. next was the baja fish, it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. not a fan of salted egg dishes (except when it's a sweet dish) but my friend wanted to try it. she liked it the best, i liked it the least although the shrimp was really juicy! introduced my friend to horchata a few months back so we were eager to see horchata on the menu. unfortunately, it didn't taste like horchata at all. the texture was also thick and grainy. we only took a few sips and that's it.

please skip the almond syrup. makes the horchata taste like a chinese dessert 😢

overall, i really liked the food. to the point that i kept on raving about it to my mom that's why we ate there with the family last october 30 dinner time.

ordered the beef barbacoa, baja fish, nachos, quesadilla, and steak burrito. the nachos were a lot! we were 4 in the group and we didn't finish it. according to my lolo, it was a bit rich, "nakakaumay". didn't get to try the steak burrito, but my dad said it had little meat and a lot of rice. the fries that came with it tasted good. quessadilla was ok too.

the baja fish, was too salty. upon serving, i already noticed it looked darker than the one i previously ordered. my mom took the first bite, and said it was salty. we called our server and he explained that it's already marinated so the mix is already uniform. i tried it as well, and unfortunately, it tasted nothing like the one i ate before. we called our server again and explained that i got to try it before and it didn't taste the same. he was kind enough to tell the chef and they said they'll make us a new one. when we got it, the color looked better. it was golden and the taste was on point.

i would still go back when they are on normal operations already because as of now, they're still on soft opening.

food is good and has great potential. service is fast and excellent. i commend our server gerald for being attentive and enthusiastic about his work 👌

my friends and i tried eating here last night out of curiosity. we were super hungry and titto's caught our attention.

there's a free valet parking service which is a plus to us cos it was really hard to look for parking spaces along kapitolyo, esp last night was payday friday. 😂

we ordered the ff:
*titto's wings(245php)-6pcs big chicken wings. we love the bbq sauce on the chicken with bleu cheese dip! chicken wings are crunchy outside but tasty and tender inside.
*lomo saltado(365php)-the gravy of this dish matches perfectly with the chopped beef tenderloin. when you have this, im sure youll be eating more rice!!
*plain rice(35php each cup)

their servings are generous. sulit! we'll definitely go back to try their other dishes! and ofcourse we wanna try the hidden bar at the side of the restaurant. :)
