very bad service. three friends and i arrived at noon on a sunday and were seated within a minute. our server, whose name is sever (bald), took our order within about 15 mins around 12:15 (long time for ordering, but not my main complaint). at 12:35 i asked him when we would receive our food as several of us were very hungry having not eaten that day yet. he indicated it was slow because a large party had put their order in before us (about 10-12 people in that party, who had been seated at least 5 mins after us). at 12:45 i asked again (now 30 mins after ordering), he said it would be 5 mins. meanwhile i saw other people who had been seated after us get food. the table next to us that had ordered just a couple minutes before us had eaten and left. after 10 more minutes i said can you at least bring us a snack we are starving. he returned with one 1/2 slice of brownsandwichbread for four people!sandwichbread! i gave it back immediately and said i don't want this, he took it and said nothing, did not offer anything else. about 1:03 we finally got our food. a full hour after sitting down. not once did he advise us of the problem, we had to ask every single time. he indicated he would give us a "sizeable discount" but only took 25% off our bill. i thought the meals should be complimentary, at the very least half off. we were at this time in a rush as we were all going to a viewing for our friends' father-in-law, so i did not have time to speak with a manager. but i can say this is the worst service i've ever received in columbus. clearly the guy had forgotten to turn in our order. we were not asking anything except straight off the menu. even if there was a huge problem in the kitchen (which i saw food leaving the kitchen all the time as we were seated right by it), he should have told us and not made us ask repeatedly. offered to bring us an appetizer, something! and after an hour that meal should have been free. reallly after 45 mins it should have been free. i can say i am reluctant to return. one of us was trying it for the first time and she said, ok, wont' be going there again. i sent a note to tip top and got no reply, further demonstrating they lack even basic customer service.
