three little figs

went downhill. we went in a few times for brunch. the first time was shortly after they'd opened and it was brilliant. lovely food, goodserviceetc. next time food was less lovely (had switched from what was almost certainly zealy bay fruit loaf to something that was more likely safeway),servicetolerable. third time, the excellent lamb pie just saved them from a permanent ban (from us). last time was definitely the last. microwave slop, one coffee burnt the other dishwater. i give up.

incredibleserviceand delicious food. how often do you get both of those? especially when the chef brings you the food and talks to you about the food. love it. will come back

stopped by three little figs on our way to port fairy. coffee is excellent.serviceis friendly and the food is very good and fresh. must try the corn fritters.

pretty little cafe from the inside with simple cute decor.servicewas alright with rather slow service, partly due to the crowd. the coffee was decent. in terms of food, the cajun chicken wrap lacks flavor - 3/5. tried the special which was porridge with apples and peach crumble which was decent and a good change to the usual stuff - 3.5/5. the eggs benedict on the other hand was impressive - 4/5and the cinnamon crumpets was the bomb - 4.5/5 probably one of the best sweet brekky i had in awhile. it's yummy with a good mix of flavor in the dish. it was sweet, savory, warm and cold all in a good harmony. the slight tint of rose in the background makes it unique. in terms of presentation the food
is pretty, definitely much better than any of the other cafe i have been on this trip. price on the other hand is on the high side. all in all i would definitely drop by this cafe again if i am back in geelong.

breakfast today at three little figs.servicewas fantastic and the breakfast menu had options other than the standard breakfast options everyone offers.servicewas swift and friendly and definitely recommend to anyone.

i would recommend it.... was a horrible raining day, popped in for a breakfast with my girlfriend.. and sat there for 20 minutes and wasn't seen to by a waitress until i had to grab her attention... but even then had alto remind her again for the menus. food came out stone cold, one boiling hot and with overcooked bacon and cold scrambled eggs. ordered second coffees and they never came.... all in all theservicewas crap, food was clean but came out late and cold... wouldn't recommend it.

upon arrival i was immediately impressed with the chilled water with lemon and ice brought to our table, the all day brekky was a bonus as i felt like the zucchini & potato rosti with poached eggs and asparagus & basil cream, was a great choice , all cooked to perfection, my dining partner chose the pulled pork, caramalised apple and coleslaw panini , also delicious.......great friendlyserviceand ambience

fantastic!. i'd heard bad things about the previous management so never went - however i drive past & it's always full on the weekends & thought i will give it a try & aren't i please i did!!
breakfast 9am saturday - quite busy & getting busier, friendly staff & fastservice- fast to make coffee too!
bacon eggs, mushrooms & tomato for breakfast, & it was all delicious we all practically inhaled it! will certainly go back to try lunch another time!
the atmosphere is really nice the cafe has a great feel about it and it would be nice to sit out side in the sun.
well worth the visit & decent pricing.

wow. what a turn around. on my last visit i was disgusted. the coffee burnt, food inedible andservicea disgrace. the under new management signs caught my eye so i gave it another chance and it was the best thing i could have done. the nicest coffee i've ever tasted and the menu so appealing i'll be going every day to try it all. the staff were so professional and pleasant and the feel and atmosphere is second to none. congratulations to the new owners for turning the worst cafe in geelong into one leagues above the rest. quite easily the best cafe in the region. loved it.

much better..... i went back to three little figs on my lunch break today after seeing the "under new management" sign out the front. i was a little reluctant after the previous owners ran it to the ground, but it ended up being worth the risk. had the honey roasted pumpkin and goats cheese salad.... oh my god! i want to go back and try everything now. coffee was impressive too. theservicewas fast and pleasant, although i'm sure it is on the start of trading for all cafes so we'll see how it fares in a few months.
