three little figs

for a saturday morning (9am) on pako & only having one waitress on was a bit ridiculous. that being said she did the best she could with a busy resturant. my poachedeggswere rock hard which was a little disappointing. if it wasn't for a scoopon i doubt i'd go back.

pretty little cafe from the inside with simple cute decor. service was alright with rather slow service, partly due to the crowd. the coffee was decent. in terms of food, the cajun chicken wrap lacks flavor - 3/5. tried the special which was porridge with apples and peach crumble which was decent and a good change to the usual stuff - 3.5/5. theeggsbenedict on the other hand was impressive - 4/5and the cinnamon crumpets was the bomb - 4.5/5 probably one of the best sweet brekky i had in awhile. it's yummy with a good mix of flavor in the dish. it was sweet, savory, warm and cold all in a good harmony. the slight tint of rose in the background makes it unique. in terms of presentation the food
is pretty, definitely much better than any of the other cafe i have been on this trip. price on the other hand is on the high side. all in all i would definitely drop by this cafe again if i am back in geelong.

breakfast today at three little figs! i was very impressed with their coffee, and poachedeggson rye with mushrooms! absolutely delicious. my partner had waffles with ice cream and strawberries, which in her opinion were amazing! i the cafe looks very cool with a nice casual feel! we will definitely be back soon. :)

upon arrival i was immediately impressed with the chilled water with lemon and ice brought to our table, the all day brekky was a bonus as i felt like the zucchini & potato rosti with poachedeggsand asparagus & basil cream, was a great choice , all cooked to perfection, my dining partner chose the pulled pork, caramalised apple and coleslaw panini , also delicious.......great friendly service and ambience

service at this cafe is particularly outstanding. i got up to ask for some more milk for my tea and before i could even get to the counter a lovely lady came and asked me if everything was okay. once i explained that i was just going to the counter to grab some more milk she smiled, said no problem, and told me she would bring it straight away. back to my seat i headed. for our breaky i obviously ordered the scrambledeggson sourdough ($9) with mushrooms ($3; as per my last post i am still going with my love of this at the moment however i think tides may be changing…wonder what the next preference will be! stay tuned haha). theseeggsweren’t quite as yellow as the ones at baveras but were very light and fluffy. the mushrooms were served in a little vessel on the side, i understand why they do this (no one wants soggy toast and presentation wise it looks better) however it is impractical. i simply took them out to eat them with my breaky- i’m the type who likes a forkful of a little-

like but not love. the waitstaff are friendly and the roesti andeggswere delicious but i thought the other elements on the plate (spinach an mushrooms) were wayyy too salty! i'd go back for a coffee but for breakky there are other places on pako which i enjoy more

i went here about a month ago for brunch. fairly small menu, but it was a delicious meal. the lady who served us was wonderful, and i would go back there purely based on her service. i had poachedeggswith asparagus and bf had smoked salmon bruschetta, plus we shared chips. couldn't fault it.

we came in early on a weekday morning. the male barrister/waiter was friendly, good natured and attentive. the cafe was well-decorated and the choice of music suited the venue. the coffees were all great. i hadeggsbenedict and it was absolutely delicious. the portion size was not too heavy, which can be rare for this dish. thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will be back soon.
