little bump up from traditional theme park food.. this place was so much better than normal theme park food. the pasties were a bit salty, but the pastry dough helped balance that out. would order them again. the butterbeer is like a cream soda float. great flavor. chicken was super moist. they find seats for you so you aren't searching for 10 minutes after getting your food. will hit this place again.

great food, especially for a theme park. our family of 4 had the roasted chicken, two of us had the chicken and ribs and the turkey leg. so much food! you could probably share a meal with your smaller children. the potatoes that come with the meals were a highlight, the corn was crisp, but all food was good. i think the ribs were the least well liked. we of course had the frozen butter beer as well. yummy! and all in a great atmosphere. inside was right out of he harry potter movies and outside was a beautiful water-side shaded area. this place is an oasis away from the rush of the busy park.

i figured it was about time i check out the wizarding world of harry potter at islands of adventure. more importantly in respect to this blog, i had lunch at the new three broomsticks restaurant within the park's new land. i'm not totally up on my harry potter trivia, but i suppose the three broomsticks is a restaurant in the village of hogsmead in the j.k. rowling books. three broomsticks served the same chicken/rib/turkey leg platters seen elsewhere in the parks, along with several british items. i ordered the shepard's pie, served with a side salad. the pie tasted good, although the vegetables normally found in shepard's pies, namely peas and carrots, were completely missing. pea soup was also ordered at our table. along with cornish pasties. these were like a british version of an empanada. also served with a salad, i preferred these to my shepard's pie. since this was a british restaurant, someone had to order the stereotypical english food and get the fish & chips. i tried a piec

if you are a harry potter fan (which you would have to be to stumble across this restaurant) then this place is a must! regardless of how long the wait for a table may be. large portions at reasonable prices i felt like hagrid dining here.
giant turkey legs, corn on the cob and half a chicken are just some of the fare you can feast on. wash it down with a butter beer and your good to go!

you must try the shepherd's pie. this is some of the best i've ever had and it's found in the middle of a theme park. all of the food here is good and the detail put into the design is not to be missed!!

i really wanted to love this place. however their rotisserie chicken was way undercooked and they fittingly tried to tell me that smoked meat would look that way. i understand smoked meat will be somewhat pink appearing, but not running with blood.

so, eating here is as much about the potter experience as it is about the food experience. for potter fans, just the feel alone makes it worth the visit. as with most of the potter the ring in the park it is excellently executes.
it’s counter service, but the staff get high marks for managing the crowds and keeping the process moving smoothly. same goes for the seating process.
for counter style food in an amusement park, it’s above average. we ordered a plattered family meal deal and it was very good and better nutritionally than you’d hope for. the addition of both craft beers and butter beer for the kids is the topper.
it’s not cheap but it’s an amusement park. overall value is well above average. we enjoyed it and again the service component was a major plus.

what a waste of time and money. we were excited to have a traditional english breakfast like the good old days but sadly the food was cold and substandard at best. the black pudding still had the outside skin on the beans were cold and had no sauce and the eggs were fake eggs. i ended up leaving most of it as it was terrible tasting. my daughter had the pancakes and even though they came out luke warm they went cold very quickly. hers was at least eatable

dining at three broomsticks is more about a total immersion into the wizarding world of harry potter. the food is primarily simple comfort food with some english flair. there is a full bar, but nothing beats butterbeer which exceeds all expectations!

my fiance and i went here about a year ago. the food was average. i was honestly expecting more from this place, but i was disappointed.  i had the cornish pastries and i was still hungry after my meal, my fiance had the smoked turkey leg.  both dishes were alright, but you can get this anywhere else and probably for much less money!!  the place looked amazing though!!!!  it was straight out of the harry potter books!!!!  make sure to grab a cup (even if you ask for water you get a little plastic harry potter cup), they make great souvenirs!

with two kids who are obsessed with harry potter, we had to hit the brand new wizarding world of harry potter at universal this past summer. it was a wonder for the kids to see one of their favorite stories come to life. they have done a great job of hogwarts but i found everything was made a little too small – i think they grossly underestimated the popularity of this world. in any case here are some of the food spots we hit whilst at harry potter world.
well you have to try it. it’s pretty yummy! you can get the frozen version or just the regular chilled one. they come is special commemorative mugs for a cost or just plain plastic cups.
