not friendly at all. the three times i went to this restaurant i was treated as if i were out of place. my wife and i recieved unfriendly service and we always get ourfoodafter everyone who orders at the same time and shortly after us. as people of color, this bothers us tremendously and you hope the incident is isolated so we gave it a few more tries the last incident was when my wife went to pickup something to go. she waited a very long time and when she asked to see a manager she was blown off and decided to just leave after the manager made nothing but excuses and didn't fix the error. i will never step near this place again, but it's not like they care. they made it clear they didn't want my money and i'm happy to grant that wish. thefoodwas subpar anyway.

a favorite in crestview. i don't get to crestview very often, but when i do i try to incorporate lunch here. great food, great service. i prefer a good meal at a quality restaurant rather than the over processed, tasteless, passionlessfoodpushed by all the chains in this area.

wanted to like it. i really wanted to like this place. thefoodwas fine, but the ambiance was lacking. if i'm going to pay destin prices in crestview, i don't want to feel like i'm in crestview. had thefoodbeen amazing it may have made up for the lack of ambiance and intimacy you expect in a fine restaurant.

i'm not sure what this restaurant is doing in crestview. i think wild olive is one of the best restaurants in the southeast, including those in atlanta. thefoodis unbelievable and the service is fantastic. the pearl street grouper is out of this world. every steak i've had is top-notch. this little gem of a restaurant is one that i send everyone in the area to patron because it is so fantastic.

i haven't had anything i didn't like here. they provide bread with a dipping sauce at every meal. theirfoodis made from scratch and is cooked perfectly. i typically go to their lunch service which is moderately priced. their dinners are more pricey, but you can't go anywhere in town like it. i had a steak sandwich for lunch last time and it was so tender, cooked perfectly. the staff is amazing and their desserts are out of this world. all made in house from scratch. i have to get one or three to go every time i go.

office luncheon. about a month ago i said i would never eat wild olive again, however the owner of my company bought our lunch today and they bought 13 chicken sandwiches and 13 bowls of potato soup. when we got the order back to the office, we had 12 sandwiches and 12 bowls of soup. we call wild olive and a guy tells us he counted 13 bowls of soup himself, however when asked about the sandwiches, he said he didn't count the sandwiches. he insist that he made 13 bowls of soup and 13 sandwiches ... not even offering to replace the missing sandwich and soup because he knows he counted 13!! well about 11 people in our office counted them and we all counted 12!!

i can tell you ... our bill was probably close to $150.00, however i can tell you .. we will never order an office lunch from there ever again!!

service stinks butfoodis wonderful.foodat the wild olive is superbe, however the staff is not as friendly. waiter charged my card for both my meal and my friends, he then voided my friends charge because he realized what he did and instead of telling me i found out a couple of days later after checking my bank account. the charge was pending for over a week!! called to complain to the owner and she was so rude .. she kept making excuses for her employee. all i wanted was for it to not happen to anyone else, i think he should have told me especially since he knew he messed up because he voided the charge and charged my friends card ... that is all i was upset about. however after the owners rudeness, i will never eat there again.

my wife and i are retired military and we've eaten in some of the finest restaurants but never expected to find . fine dining right here in crestview. yet here it is at the wild olive. limited menu, but thefoodis perfectly prepared and well worth a visit. once you've dined there you will return. that is a given. try the lunch specials and that will be enough to make you a dedicated regular.

goodfoodand quaint atmosphere. my significant other and i often dine at the wild olive in crestview, which means at least once or twice weekly and we are continually surprised by occasional negative hit and run comments about this exquisite dining experience. in fact, if the wild olive were in atlanta, birmingham, or miami those same make-believefoodcritics would be raving about the ambience, thefoodpreparation and presentation and attentive wait staff. frankly, i would even go so far as to suggest most of those who complain about the wild olive wouldn't have a clue how to unfold their napkin in a place like alinea, in chicago. and i say this as someone who can honestly claim to have dined in six of the highest rated restaurants in the united states. quite simply, thefoodin the wild olive is some of the best in the southeastern united states. the only drawback in the menu is fairly limited, and there is no wine list, but apart from those minor annoyances thefoodis superbly prepared and served by competent wait staff. and it is not a fastfoodplace, so sit back relax, and enjoy a culinary experience that will shock you. the only question you should leave with is how does a dinky little town like crestview deserve a restaurant with such high standards?
