the vj cafe & khichdi

orderedcheesemaggie of whichcheesewas missing somewhere and when called to ask about it the answer i got was that they forgot to put on it and when asked to do something about it as i ordered it from zomato they said can u come and pick a khichdii up wow also ordered a paneer wrap which was as spicy as anything don't know for what reason sorry but i won't recommend this 😤😤😤😤

afrer seeing good reviews, we went there. we ordered chillicheesefries, veggie wrap & oreo milkshake.

nothing was good. fries were soaked incheese& were absolutely loose & not crispy.
wrap quantity was too less compare to price they were charging

& worst was oreo shake. it was so thin that we can't even call them shake.

very poor experience...

quirky and fun interiors, chill vibe, reasonable prices and amaze fries, twisters, wraps! the vj café, located at trivia complex can definitely be put under the hidden gems section of the city. just one visit, and you’ll become a fan.

visited the joint with a group of friends and we ordered quite a few things off the menu. we had the peri peri potato twister (thinly sliced potatoes served up on a stick with sauces; a must try), the chillicheesefries (laden with sauces), the schezwan fries (served on a bed of spicy schezwan sauce), and the pizza fries (this was something different, fries served up pizza style with a big layer of cheese). next we had the popper wrap, made with potato and veggies filling and tangy sauces (a yum alternative to the frankies we regularly have), and these were accompanied by oreo shake, red velvet shake, and cold coffee.

the bubble bee café has collaborated with the vj café baroda and they serve something to satisfy both sweet tooth and savoury lovers at on place. from bubble bee we tasted the watermelon cooler and the joker (they are bubble teas with little pops of edible bubbles which dissolve in your mouth), the chocolate blunder and white chocolate fantasy (both waffles slathered with chocolate) and the rocky road which was the highlight of the evening (a bubble waffle served with scoops of ice cream and toppings; you are supposed to bite into the waflle and the ice cream together). it’s a nice joint to casually hang with friends or take your dates to which doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket and leaves your tummy full. also they are completely veg. hope you try it and like it as much as i did, or maybe more!

so this place is located in trivia complex at natubhai circle. it's a small place where you can hangout with your friends and the beloved.
they have a menu that attracts the youngsters the most
what we tried :
1) peri peri twister : potato twister with peri peri masala. it was amazing. crispy and yummy.

2) chillicheesefries : hot and crispy fries with loads of chillicheesedip. this dip being my favorite, i enjoyed these fries thoroughly.

3) popper wrap : it is a wrap with an aloo patty, veggies and different sauces, served with crispy fries. i loved this wrap because it was filling and sauces made it taste even better

4) watermelon cooler : this one is not just a regular ice tea but a bubble ice tea. it is a new trend in town where you see some decorative edible beads inside your ice tea which is fun to have. it was a truly refreshing drink i had that evening.

5) waffles : being a dessert lover, i tried two types of waffles - the traditional one and a bubbled one.

6) chocolate blunder : the normal waffle that we commonly eat. but i enjoyed it as it had loads of chocolate and was warm

7) rocky road : a huge dessert with chocolate overload! bubbled chocolate waffles with chocolate syrup, chocolate icecream, sprinkles and gems. it was heavy but if you have a sweet tooth, just go for it.

we went to this place before a few days with some friends and the experience was good! we tried their chillycheesefries, pizza fries (must try), schezwancheesefries, popper wrap (must try), peri peri twister (must must try),  red velvet milkshake, oreo milkshake, cold coffee, rocky road bubble waffle (must try), white chocolate fantasy waffle and chocolate blunder waffle. there are many more options for french fries, twisters and bubble waffles! they also have many options for bubble tea (we tried watermelon cooler & the joker). overall a good place which will suit your pocket as well.

ordered two fries and three wraps from here. it was absolutely terrible. the fries were cold and had become difficult to chew. the wrap was very bland and even though i had ordered a "cheesy paneer wrap", there was nocheesein it. overall it was not worth those 150 rs.

the fries were kind of undercooked the first time we went but were cooked well the next time. the good part is that fries here are made fresh unlike frozen alternatives in other places. also the sauces are added generously. would recommend chillicheesefries.

edit: they still use plastic straws and plastic cutlery. many popular fast food chains and cafes have already made the switch to paper straws and wooden spoons. i would recommend you guys to switch too.

amazing fries and shakes, good place to hang out with friends. 😁cheesefries and oreo shake are my personal favourite.❤️ the ambience is great too.

i am aware that i have ordered here at almost midnight and its your closing hour, but serving such horrible food isn't fair. i have ordered your best sellercheesechilli fries and moreover i am ordering for the first time. i will never recommend this cafe to anyone. where do i start with? the fries were not salted. the sauces were so overloaded that i never could taste anything except a smooth paste of red cheese. the fries were so soggy that not even its outer portion uncovered with sauce was crunchy. i hate wasting food but today was an exception. really disappointed with you guys. i am finding a way not even to give you this one star.
