yuppies have moved into oc..... oregoncityhas always been a blue collar town. the people here roll up their sleeves and do the work that others don't like to do. the verdict bar and grill is really mislocated (it would do better across the river in west linn) and targets the wine and cheese crowd.

more specifically - the food is terribly overpriced and the portions are small. have a family? don't even think of coming here, the people who work here will make you feel like you are a criminal for even walking through the door.

on top of all that - the location is downtown oc. this means pay you get to pay for parking and fight for the few spots that exist. oregoncitywould do well to purchase a lot for public parking and do away with the machines.

great food, great atmosphere. this relatively new destination in oregoncityis a pleasant change. the atmosphere is cozy (woodstove), friendly and a delight to the palate. worth the drive, even if you don't have an appointment at the court house across the street.
