to jp. i disagree with you. these woman rule with an iron fist. you are obviously intimidated.

what a nice night to spend indoor at a great pub with a great steak!..again! constancy is the key. to jps comments i completely disagree, each time i have been the staff have been great! the ladies rule with an iron fist and damand respect. i will safely assume that u pissed them off to have been treated badly.please do not let these people put you off. i do agree however that again the parma was awesome.

amazing parmas, bar staff are so rude and well below the professional standard. have been going there near on 2 years and everytime i go they are always the same, snobby little girls who think they are better than you. only reason to go back is the amazing food.

love this place! been twice, food has been great. nice old-school pub (no pokies) with cute beer garden at the back. reasonably priced too and close to train station. deep fried zucchini fritters are my favorite.

good beer and great food, the union appears laid back and casual, but it gets it effortlessly right, the attention to detail is there, and it shines though. food is consistently good, and special change regularly to keep things interesting. sunday's have free live music on a small stage, it can get quite busy so allow extra time for food and the bar.

this is our local and it's a great one. steak is always good and the specials are often really good. but we mainly go for the friendly, relaxed atmosphere and the great beer garden

i love the beer garden here. the food is pretty good, but definitely try the specials board instead of the "normal" menu -- it's usually heaps better.

they often have roo, duck, and sometimes quail or goat, if you're interested in trying something different!

the food's good, not too expensive. good atmosphere and the staff are great. good for a summer meal, even on a weekend when it's busy.

good beer garden. this place has a great beer garden. the food is decent for the price. nothing to rave about but will definitely go back.

don't order the pie. have been here a few times...all the staples are great...burger, steak, parma's etc.

after finally taking my wife there for the first time...she ordered the pie of the day. one word....

disgusting...a 4 and 20 pie taste's better. this really was rank...the filling tasted like it came out of can, the pastry...the worst i have ever had. to top it all off...cooked in a microwave - so nice and soggy...yuk.

despite all this will be back as everything prior great...especially the burger....but please....

don't go near the pie.

give it another go. i think i just had the worst pie ever...chunks of bland dry beef encased in cardboard. it smelled like burnt butter, fortunately i had some of my husbands burger which was not bad at all. happy to try something else next time, nice atmosphere.

great place for a relaxing pub meal. i am so lucky that this pub is walking distance from my house. warm, friendly atmosphere with really good food. great place to go with family - my 82 year old dad loves it, as does my 19 year old daughter.

the home made schnitzel has an amazing herb encrusted crumbing that is rather tasty, so much so i didn’t quite mind the shortage of napoli and cheese (although full coverage would have been nice)

once again great food, always come with the intention of eating off the menu but the specials get me every time. glad this is my local.
