potential but currently a miss.... the surroundings were nice but the food was disappointing. my red chicken curry came out looking like a weak stew. it was watery and bland. the lettuce wraps had way to much ginger in them. worst of all they didn't have a proper bartender mixing drinks, just a charming young girl that had no idea what she was doing unfortunately. not wasting another dime here. was hoping for better considering its owned by the same people as lanna,

loved everything here!. this place is a "must-go"! the red gang curry is probably one of the best curry dishes i have ever eaten. also the three mushroom soup is amazing. i can't wait to go back and eat it again. you will not be disappointed.

this is one of my favorite places to eat. the trout pad ped is delicious. do not purchase a gift card however! i was given one over a year ago with a substantial balance and have only been able to use once. it has been rejected numerous times with the reason their reader couldn’t accept at that time.

great vegetarian dishes. seafood dishes were nice. their fried rice is the best in tulsa. service was ok. pricing on some of the protein dishes are a bit on the higher end. nice local restaurant.

green curry had very good flavor. the spicy level 2 seemed more like a 5. cleared out my sinuses! husband got mee siam. son got fried rice with pork. both enjoyed their meals. price was a little expensive, but it was a very pleasant meal.

great place for fresh and light thai cuisine and perfect for a person with a plant based diet like myself due to the wide variety of options available. started off with the corn cakes, which were crispy and fried to perfection with a warm and moist center. we then ordered the penne keow whan and the nam prik-pao fried rice, both of which i recommend to give a try. the penne was very light and creamy with a good kick and had a hint of sweetness to it . the fried rice was quite flavorful and was accompanied with sliced apples which gave the dish a unique texture. the servers were respectful and allowed for us to feel left alone to ourselves, but they were still attentive and we did not feel neglected. i  recommend to give this place a try one night for a different take on thai food.

went here with colleagues for work as it offers a nice selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian items. the lettuce wraps were unique and i really liked them. next time i go, that may be what i order for my main course! i didn't have the fish but one of my colleagues did and was very pleased with it.

upscale thai food seems weird. in my opinion, the best thai places are affordable and not afraid to set your mouth ablaze with heat.

the food was good. the atmosphere was good. the service was meh. the bill was big. the food was not spicy.

i had a bacon basil bloody mary that was ok. the tom yum with white fish was tasty, but they didn't make it hot like i asked.

apparently this is owned by the same that own lana thai. lana thai suffers from the same issue. they are afraid to make stuff pet pet. so i give them no aroy mak mak.

am i invisible?. we went on a slow night and were seated immediately but at that point we became completely invisible. servers came and went right by us for nearly 15 minutes and no one ever even looked our direction. we decided to take our menus and go sit at the bar so at least we couldn't be ignored.

i saw lots of items on the menu i would like to try, but i doubt i'll be going back after that experience.

the tropical finally let me down.... i have been coming to the tropical for months, it has been my favorite newly discovered restaurant in tulsa this year and have not had a bad experience up until today. i have worked my way through over half of the menu and let me tell you there are some amazingly flavorful dishes at this restaurant: the tom kha soup, green gang curry, panang, prikking, kaprao, pad see yu, nam prik-pao fried rice, and penne keow whan (penne in a curry dish?!) were all fantastic and made me want to lick the plate/bowl when finished because of how tasty they were. on top of that, the service has been impeccable up until today. tonight my boyfriend and i ordered the lettuce wraps to start which were great (as usual) and then i ordered the gang pah with pork and he the garlic pepper with beef. his dish came out cold and with pork instead of beef as the protein and my gang pah upon first glance looked far more watery than i was expecting but i picked up my fork and went for a taste. though the dish had a decent amount of heat (i had ordered it hot) it was not that spicy but more importantly it was extremely bland and flavorless, i couldn't believe this was the same restaurant that i've been going to all fall and winter. when seeing that i had barely eaten any of the dish because there was no point, it was basically inedible, the server asked if it was too hot and i told her no, i thought it tasted watered-down and bland. she asked if i wanted it re-made with coconut milk and i said no and then asked if i was ok with it and walked away from the table. when she came back again to get the plates she asked if i wanted to take it home and i said no and yet there was never any offer to take the dish off even though it was essentially untouched. we go so often one of the servers knows us by name, i tell everyone about how great this restaurant is and i don't feel like we were taken care of tonight. i loved this restaurant but i will not be going back for a while...i was very disappointed in the food and service this visit.
